        You can always book a trip and elect to pay via direct deposit, gives you an extra day or so to see if you can get leave, etc.

        just a tip for everyone else..

        if you are not 100% sure of buying, just choose the direct deposit option.
        It will give you at least 48 hours to complete the booking and reserve your seats and prices for no extra surcharge.

        Once confirmed, you can opt to pay at any time, just go to the manage my booking option in the site and make the payment.

      Confirmed there's definitely nothing from or to Perth. Someone asked Jetstar on Facebook and they replied no.

    Jetstar need to upgrade the servers prior to release of these deals.
    Whats a bet the site gets hammered and bookings don't go through,
    & a massive thread grows containing complaints On the Ozbargain servers.

        True! but I wish jetstar would sort their sh** out so Ozbargain data storage cost wouldnt have to increase as much. ( Yes I know its a tiny percent but ever byte is a byte more)
        That, and the users who want to book dont have to stress out and spend pointless time refreshing a hammered website

          What part are you voting down?
          The part about ozbargain data server costs going up and me feeling sorry for our community providers, OR the fact that people get stressed and waste time refreshing their web-browsers on a site like Jetstar when they have server issues due to poor infrastructure?

    Most of the flights are Tuesdays and Wednesdays early morning and evenings, Saturday evenings only so not ideal for a weekend away

      Gold coast to Sydney. Once again only weekdays early mornings or satday evening. Therefore a crappy deal. Jetstar can do better than that! C'mon this is not a 10th anniversary celebration!

    You know what I hate about the Jetstar reservation system (well apart from the whole thing in general) If you select your seats and go through and sort everything out, if someone is quicker than you and gets to the end of the booking, it takes it right from under you.

    I have had some massive frustration about this and I believe it is utter contempt to the customer to allow this! (and I have made numerous complaints via social media and phone and email about it)

    Oh and expect about half the plane to be screaming kids during these sale times, (from previous experience).

      i think direct deposit avoids the fees.
