$26 Onboard Credit for P&O Cruises Departing Queensland(er!)

40

Nothing beats that home crowd love. Not only are the Maroons still in the game, but you get a sweet $26* onboard credit if you book a cruise today.
P.S. This is just about a duplicate but I think the NSW post will soon set sail, like so many State of Origin hopes.

  • P&O Cruises were recently offering credit of up to $200.

but you get a sweet $26 onboard credit

Is that enough for a beer ?

    • Dunno, all I could find was Lobster sashimi has an $18 surcharge and Oysters (natural or tempura) a $2 surcharge each at Salt grill by Luke Mangan.

In other words Qld wins 13 fresh delicious oysters while NSW sucks on 3.

wtf why surcharge i thought we pay and can eat everything all you can eat at the ship

        • That's because in Australia we're accustomed to paying extra for things that really should be included as an integral part of the item…. paying for tomato sauce for your pie…. paying for guacomole on your nachos…. the list goes on and on.

    • 26 bucks on a cruise is practically nothing. That's like the cost of 3 beers up on the top deck. When I went, the taps for the keg beers on the top deck (pool area) had conveniently broken, so they sold overpriced coronas (god dammit I hate that beer!).

Cheapest beers on the boat were either the casino bar or show room bar. General rule, the further away from the pools, the cheaper the beer.

  • The last thread of this for the $6 NSW offer got deleted saying it was a joke. Maybe the pitiful amount they're offering is a joke.
