      Thanks JPower, good to know. Particularly like the free shipping on this deal as this gives the people living outside the major cities an opportunity to take part in the bargains.

      What are you talking about? They are all I've ever used and I've never had a single problem with them.

        The question is how extensively have you tested them? Have you done PIE/PIF parity scans on a number of different drives in addition to the dvd video playability on a variety of standalone players? My conclusions are: CMC MAG AM3 have poorer burn quality and poorer playback compatibility (skips in one of my dvd video players) than good quality media (eg Verbatim, which has the best compatibility and then Taiyo Yuden). Verbatim and TY are not perfect however…

    If anyone's hesitant about buying from 9289 - don't be, I ordered some stuff last week with the free shipping promo and had no trouble at all. Order arrived quickly and tracking number was provided. Great prices from this retailer, hopefully they're around to stay.

      Agree with cyssero. The first couple of deals that I saw from them I did not take advantage of as they were a bit of an unknown quantity. Since some positive feedback turned up I decided to give them a go and have now bought from them a couple of times. They seem well organised, package their items thoughtfully (hard drive was very smartly packaged) and respond to customer queries.

    Anyone got their items yet? The website is down I hope they haven't gone bye byes.

    I did receive an invoice via email from them on the 18th and they had a tracking number for www.FASTWAY.com.au. Yet the tracking number doesn't work (example Tracking#FA0013800000). Says "There are no records available for this label number". Cheers
