    iPad Mini 16GB Wifi $296 and iPad 2 16GB Wifi $298 is the cheapest I every see from local retail (even online I think).

      If you want fun, apps and a tablet to walk round the house with, go iPad.

      The windows app store is almost non-existent, surface pro is too heavy to walk round with but the palm rejection stylus is a killer!

      Still a good deal on the iPad 4th gen. Considering new iPads will have a price increase compared to their equivalent models just like the iPhone and iMac.

        This is what I'm concerned about with the iPad Mini 2. The base 16GB model will probably rise to $399 or more when a new one is released next month.

          They might remain good prices. If the current trend is to go by after the price rises we saw with the iPhone and several of the Mac products this week, then iPads are prime candidates to see a price rise at the same time the new models are released.

        If the newer model is with minor upgrades, then I will get the old one.
        If the newer model is with major upgrades, then I will get the new one.
        $100 is always justified for major upgrades (screen resolution, CPU, etc)

          Get the full sized one. The screen resolution on the mini is crap. I got rid of mine after only 1 day. Did you check availability of both white and black stock?

          I love my iPad mini. I've had my iPad 1 since launch, the kids have it now to watch videos/YouTube. I would never go back to a full sized iPad because the size of the mini is so convenient. I would honestly wait for the next update however as it'll be a HUGE improvement with a rumoured retina display and A6X chip.

        OW don't sell ipads in their stores. Call them on 1300 office and organise the price match over the phone. Then pick up from your local store.

    Was excited when I saw the Galaxy Tab 3 - but it's $21 more expensive than officeworks even :O Where on earth was the deal there? Free delivery? Lol.. @#$#@%

      Upon closer inspection, the listed price for the Galaxy Tab 3 8" is the RRP. So i'm hoping this tool of a webmaster hasn't updated the price yet? Hopefully they also give it a $100 off - in case anyone else is hoping to get a 'droid

    Paid $281.2 and add 32GB usb flash price to hit over $300 for the TRS.

    Forgot to mention, needs to pick up in store and have to wait couple days for it.

        Looks like a blatant lie as they are showing in stock online now at the same price as DSE $296. Clearly they didn't want to take the loss through price matching and reducing an additional 5%.

    Damn their website is terrible. The iPod Touch is available to click and collect except upon checkout it won't let you choose that option. It then states free delivery in the cart, however on checkout wants to charge $4.95.

    Wasn't the Asus TF810C-1B059W on special for $599 this week? To now drop down to $350 is pretty good. Very tempted to pull the trigger, was looking at getting a secondhand note 10.1 but for $350 this asus tablet is hard to beat.

    This is not the first time Dick Smith resort to these dirty tricks of putting a very low price of an item and then put "Out of Stock" in the past Dick Smith had also done a Nokia N9 for $99 and then put "Out of Stock"
    By all counts, only a handful maybe less than 5 people will be able to score the deal and then it's over whilst the whole time it is "Out of Stock" No other retail store does that, only Dick Smith does that. It's unethical.

        Yeah really good price!! Not as good as the ebay group deal a few of us were lucky to be part of.. But still a good price for local stock with the ING & TRS cash back if eligible..
        Looking at the trend, a new model should be around the corner.. So hence the price drop..
