        Fantastic price for Aus stock!! Just went and price matched with JB and the guy was in total amazement at how cheap DSE were selling GoPro for as JB's sticker price is $488. Considering too that Gopro.com are selling it for $329USD + approx $80 shipping to Aus, this is a great bargain.

    Well, the new bay trail processor is out, so it would make sense for dse to try and clear out old stock, i've seen deals in the past where win 8 tablets sell for $300-$400 so this price isn't too unrealistic. Though as mentioned, dse do have a somewhat dodgy reputation when its comes to specials so i guess we should temper our expectations.

    bad experience with Officework pricematch procedure.
    i tried to price match the iPad 4th generation. The staff agreed on the pricematch then suddenly hung up on me while in conversation. When i tried to call back again, another staff agreed to price match but then tried to extend the conversation by putting me on hold like forever then she let me know that Officework has just dropped the price to the same price with Dicksmith & the price match for this deal doesn't work anymore.

      OW is giving for $397 as they have updated price to match DS. $397 is fantastic price for ipad 4, lets not be stingy. You should have called at 9am to get the deal at $377

        it doesn't like im complaining about the price since i still bought one with OW. Just wish if the staff tells me from the beginning instead of asking me to wait that long for the price drop :( i'm still willing to buy at $397.

      I was on the phone for 20 mins trying to price match and kept putting me on hold and then tell me they are out of stock of the ipad 4 and now they still have some in stock! What the?

      Wasted my time.

      I had it in my officeworks cart at $397 and then went to change to a different colour and by that time, the price was back to normal. Luckily, the item in my cart didn't change so placed the order. I wonder if they will give me a black instead of the white one in store. Rang them and said that all items get dispatched from the warehouse to the store (regardless of the store having stock) but they can't change an online order on their system.

    How do you redeem gift cards online now? Previously you are able to punch in your card number and pin code?

      Under 'my account' there is a 'gift voucher' tab. However, it only works for certain gift cards. My DSE gift which shows the whole balance on the everydaygiftcards site doesn't work on the DSE site.

    Just got iPad v4 pricematched at OW for $377.15 :) Sydney and Brisbane stores are all out, but snagged one of the last ones in Melbourne. Luckily, I've got relatives there that can pick up for me!

        Got in before the updated price :) While I was on the phone, I could hear a manager in the background telling staff no more price matches! By that stage, my payment had already been processed so all good!

    What a joke! Got a call from Chadstone store and said my iPad 4 order is cancelled. If I still want it I have to go to their store in person and good luck if they still have some in stock. Shame on DSE! It's just a waste of my effort.

      are your 100% sure that your transaction is counted as an online purchase if you bought it via phone?

      failed to price match. reason: I am in WA. cant do click and collect and delivery.

    Did a Click & Collect on a 5th gen iPod Touch on Friday morning, but I doubt if it'll get to the "Collect" stage, given that it sold out later.

    However, I did manage to snaffle the last one from DSE at Doncaster Shoppingtown this afternoon. What a great deal. I stopped myself from buying the Iconia A1 (for now), mostly by looking at the twice-as-expensive Galaxy Tab 3 8" next to it and thinking that the Galaxy's far, far brighter/sharper display was probably worth the extra, if I was going to spend the money. Which I wasn't. But the weekend ain't over yet. ;)

    For anyone who missed out on the Asus TF810C, I may have a spare unopened one that I am willing to sell at cost + postage if necessary. I live at postcode 2035 and work in the Sydney CBD and I am currently playing email ping-pong with the store who processed my on-line order and charged my credit card despite telling me they would cancel the order as requested over the phone so I could buy it in-store instead. I only wanted one.
