This is not a good deal at all. The departures at that price are ex Bangkok, you have to pay more to go from other cities.
We just booked flights to Hanoi (further than Ho Chi Minh City), Perth > Singapore > Hanoi and very good connecting flights and flight times, plus during PEAK period (school holidays, which this deal is not valid at) for $700 return. A 3 star hotel costs around $30 per night per person on websites such as Agoda.
So not a good deal at all IMO, you can get MUCH cheaper booking yourself!
