These are OK if you need to belt somebody.
Bang for buck, however, somebody on OzB pointed me at this cheap diver torch. Very bright, more than the Maglite, and runs on AAs.

  You're not going to get as much 'bang' when you swing that AA one at someone.
  My personal preference would be the 4C Mag, lighter and quicker on the swing and longer reach too.

I have two and bought them same price for ONE few years ago.

theses are good torch to have.

the battery last long time I never changed it once. Still works well.
