    Starting when?

    • Dates are above just under the deals

      • +5

Noted. If a deal has not started, op should mention that in the post. It should be assumed that the deal is live if there is no mention otherwise. That little tag to the post should also note the start and end of a deal. But it is silly to have to check that tag on every deal that is posted just to see if the deal is live yet.

add the date into the description it doesn't show that bottom part on the app on phones.

    • Even the grammar police can't help you on that one

For anyone that does not have the card as of yet, once you go to self serve checkout there is usually the cards in their paper packs behind the machines, for people to easily join. Grab that envelope and scan the barcode on the back, no activation needed and gives you the discount without joining. Pop it back on the shelf once finished. Simple.

So shouldn't it be better to put the start date in the title or description? I mean, just to avoid confusion. Besides, it is only one more line of writing ;)

I love knowing about catalogue deals ahead of time. I get very excited by it for some reason!

  • anyone know if these things also usually apply to Food For Less stores?

Can confirm the $1 coke zero. just bought 10 from the deer park woolworths as there were already posters outside the store with the deal.
Deal is not live yet but there were no dates on the posters, so staff put a manual override on the price

    • I had the same at Warringah Mall - big sign out the front with no date so staff did a manual adjustment for me.

Last time I saw 1.25L Coke for a dollar was well over a decade ago.

  • "Coca-Cola lemon or zero"

Does this include Coke Zero with lemon?

    (Not a joke question…)

  • Just need to figure where to stash the coke

  • Super deal on the Coke ..

  • Cheap coke? Chevy Chase approves!

  • I went to my three nearest stores and there were no Coke Zeros left.

    • Get a rain check. It doesn't say no rain check's on the special

    • They had bottles on the shelf but at the normal price. No indication of the bargain. I was in a hurry but I wonder if I should have tested the price with the EDR card.

      • Yeah that's the special you will only get it for $1 when you use your EDR card.

        • i only saw another ticket with the promo - the normal price ticket was still displayed

      • Got it for $1 this time. No price tag mentioning EDR on the shelf, but there was a big poster outside the supermarket.

D'oh thought it was for original as well. Never has $2.79 felt like so much for a 1.25l bottle…

    • You should have asked the cashier to cancel that purchase as soon as you noticed it. I made sure to ask the cashier to confirm the EDR price before continuing with the scanning.

FYI the cokes end up being pretty much free if you enter the codes and redeem for a movie ticket (95 points = 10 cokes = 1 movie ticket = ~$10 worth using other movie ticket promos)

    • I was thinking the same thing.
And if you don't normally get a cheap ticket before going to the movies (like I did the other day, as a last minute decision), then if you pay $18.50 or so for a ticket, they are kind of paying you to drink coke. Bought 2 cases, maybe I should get more?? :D
