Price is OK for a V3 - but the (hopefully improved) V4 has been released.

Also, the reviews re. reliability and warranty support are so bad ->

    have been trying to find out for 2 days now the status of my order. had to phone twice yesterday with no outcome and again this morning and was told someone would call me back! i just had to phone back now and told the internet ppl have left for the day ??????? if i have no answer tomorrow order will be cancelled

REP: What is the difference between a v3, v3 4WD, and v4? (in terms of both features and price)

  The v3 4WD (four wheel drive) is a better choice for slippery surfaces (like Tiled and Fiberglass pools for example). In addition the v3 4WD comes with a timer.
  
  The V4 has all the features above plus it includes a remote control.
  
  We have the v3 4WD at $1349, and the v4 for $1599.

Do I need a pool for this or could it do my home too?

Does this one need to be removed after each use or can it be left in pool for use with a wall timer?

  It can be left in the pool, however the cleaner will possibly last longer if it is taken out.
