      Overprice university bookstore

      • Serious question - any cheaper option (other than secondhand)?

If you know which textbooks you need you can buy them from overseas. There are a lot of websites sell textbooks and post to Australia much cheaper than co-op.

Or you can buy them as electronic copy if you are comfortable to read them on a tablet or laptop… At least this what I am doing.

There's an additional benefit: 5% cash back on PayPass™ purchases for the first three months.
Fantastic if your IGN PayPass 5% benefits have concluded.

    • +2

      THREE months? wasnt it 6?!

  • What if you already have an ETA and are also a co-op member? Will you still get the $25?

  • +3

Why does this offer only give 3 months of 5% cashback?
Going to ME bank directly gives 6 months of 5% cashback for paypass… (http://mebank.com.au/etahome/homepage/?CampaignID=ETA_SOCIAL…)
"Apply before 30 May and you’ll receive 5% cash back when you Tap & Go™ on all MasterCard PayPass™ purchases under $100 for the first 6 months*"

Those that have used up the 6 months of ING direct Cashback will make far more than $25 in cashback over the 3 extra months. This offer is only good for people who need/want a quick $25.
