I have sworn to god that I am not buying anything again from Fluidtek. Something which I'm absolutely not able to comprehend is how someone is able to run a bussiness in a developed country like Australia without needing to provide a contact number.

    • well i have to agree with you when you say that eddy is a bit of a $#%#.and hopefully some one puts him straight. but if some1 is after a bargain then there is one to be had here. like i said it comes with the warnings. and i really hope that some 1 does put him in place.

      • Eddie is the soup Nazi of computer parts !!!!

    • As much as I love a bargain, I try to justify the extra $10 or $20 etc, not to have to jump through the hoops of these sorts of businesses.

    • he probably doesn't want a phone number listed due to the time wasters calling up, or serial whingers, he's a shop, not tech support.

come into the store and deal with them face to face, they are cheap you get what you need and leave. Much better than MSY in my opinion.

      • quantocks, u mentioned "Much better than MSY in my opinion."

i was jus wondering but could i ask y? thanks

the $20 something postage cost isnt really justified though..

    • and who is gonna account for the postage?

apparently the site says that it doesn't do pickups, however, you can visit their parramatta shop in sydney… (details found in their help/faq section)

+1 for the wave pro. I got mine from Wireless1 the other day (fantastic service btw) and it's a great kb/mouse combo. The mouse fits perfectly into the palm of your hand (well mine anyway) and the keyboard is a great design. i'm not a professional typist, and i do make mistakes, but the keys are positioned so well that it's much less likely.

  • Also bought wave pro from Wireless1. Bought on Wednesday afternoon, got it on Friday morning. Painless :)

  • go to fluidtek and pick up and try claim your warranty then
    hehe.

  • Yep I got from wireless1 and it arrived today. Love that I can take it in to another room and use it with my LCD TV acting as a secondary monitor connected via a long HDMI cable. And yeah the mouse is really really comfortable and a perfect fit for my hand. Will take a while getting used to such a large keyboard tho… don't really see the point to all the wasted space down the bottom
