      • Both dick and ebay links have been removed

      • Soz, on the mobile site allows you to click buy it now but cannot get to paypal page when it says outof stock.

  • Kicking myself I missed this….

Why so hard on yourself? It's not like you are going to monitor OzBargain site 24/7. You won't die from missing this deal, believe me, just get on with life.

Yeah, this is the first decent deal that I got lucky, in the past I have missed tons of deals

so yeah, chin up kid, Black Friday is just around the corner :)

  • Can anyone recommend a 55" LCD TV from DS ebay sale? Am looking at the LG (55LB5820) and Samsung (UA55H6400) 55"s. Im not really fazed by the 3D function of the samsung which would probably never be used but it does the higher refresh rate of 100hz over the LG 50hz. does the refresh rate make that much of a difference?

  • Anyone able to find a PDF manual for the 65" TV?
That particular model isn't even mentioned on the Seiki website and I can only assume it's customised for Oz with an Oz compatible DVB-T tuner and Power Cable but beyond that it would be nice to know if it supports things like ARC over HDMI.
The DSE specs page is worse than useless and is full of errors, I don't trust a word of it.

  • Hmmmmm need just a little more info on this SEIKI 65" FHD LED TV at such a bargain price then I'm in… I have actually always wanted a huge 65' TV… just not eager to buy it before someone says its a good product

    • Might be a bit hard finding someone who already owns one as these TV's were only added to dse a week ago

      • True… suprisingly brownbox and appliances online have it for $1920, more than other 65' TV's..

        • Yeah 2mrw this tv will be $1500 on dse site.

  • Thoughts on iphone 6? Cant seem to find it on the website (link is broken..)

    • I've updated the link m8 so click it again and you will see it.

      • Thanks!

        • If you want the gold version look under unlocked mobile phones, not unlocked smartphones :)

  • Does anyone know what happens if your not home when DSE deliver something like a big TV. I won't be home for a week. I tried calling but they aren't sure and I don't want it left outside for days while I'm away.

    • ring them and ask them to deliver it on a certain day, they should be able to contact the distribution or post centre for you

    • Typically goes to your local depot for you to pickup. They don't do redelivers if nobody is home unless you pay a redelivery fee.

  • Just bought the 65" TV for 737, what a deal! Thanks OP this will be a great upgrade to the 50" DSE TV in the lounge :-)

Please share… shows up as $1899 for me.

    • what time did you buy it?

it also shows $1899 for me

      • +1

2 minutes before I posted. It's gone back up to 1899 when I click the purchased item. Pricing error so they'll cancel my order?

        • no, you got your order alright, they were running a sale before 9am today

        • You're so lucky mono joker.
Only if I was 20mins faster lol

  • They offer a 14 day return policy. I bought the 55" Seiki on Sunday for $515, now it's $465.
Can you return it to a store or do I have to ship it back to Greenacre?

    • Shows as $1149 now

      • Crikey. Their eBay store is so poorly run.

  • went to buy the 65" TV

did the price go back up???

    its at Price:AU $1,899.00 now :(

    • +1

same here, just refreshing the page and it's gone, missed it, what a pity
anyway, does anyone know how DS sale works? seems very unusual to run the sale for a random period of time and suddenly stop the sale at random hour without telling anyone

    • same refreshed the link and the price went back up.

it would of been a great deal with the 15% off.

  • I ordered the UE Boombox but only got delivered today the UE4000 headphones no Boombox, not cool! Will ask DSE for a please explain as to why no Boombox and just UE4000 headphones. I already bought a set when they were $25 so don't need another pair and will request a refund.

  • Damn looking for a new tv also wanted a tv basher and not some high end at the moment so this would have been a good deal im sure it will surface again..

  • Has anyone received the Seiki tv yet?

    • Which one? I got my 55" last week

      • Have not received my 65" yet. How is your 55" picture and built quality?

        • Brilliant :)

        • @Lazer: thanks. Good to know that. Got a star track undelivered card this afternoon i think it is the tv.

    • Yeah, can anyone please report on the 65" which is on sale again at this deal? Thanks.

      • Well Lazer above says the 55" is brilliant so the 65" would be the same if not better

        • Has anyone got the digital coax audio out working for their 65" seiki TV? I can't get mine to work.

        • @Whomastadon: Yep, got me curious so I tried and it worked after some fiddling with settings and turning off and back on the TV and my sound system. BTW, I have not managed to get ARC working yet but there are settings for the feature so I presume it will work after a little more fiddling.

BTW, some of my comments on this TV can be found in the other/later deal covering it at
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/162609?page=1#comment-2285…

        • HDMI 2 is port that supports ARC according to the manual so once I followed the instructions and applied the settings the TV audio plays through my sound system.

  • Seiki 65" TV jerky motion problems. Is anybody else experiencing image stuttering? It is more noticeably in full HD steady panning scenes like the opening sequences of the film Divergent. And I find it very off putting. I have tried a few input sources, some of the limited TV settings and different HDMI cables but cannot eliminate it. I continue to try different options/settings but I am concerned that it can/will not be overcome. I was pretty happy with the TV until I discovered this issue [grr].
