      Yes and no.
      Open a Commsec account - first couple of trades free (see the Ts&Cs for specifics)
      Open a MyWealth account and make a trade - $50 bonus. Brokerage is charged at 19.95 (free trades only if done through Commsec using the above offer). Essentially, a $30.05 reward.
      Having said that, you have to put up a fight with CBA to get these offers honoured.
      Opened both since I wanted to start investing in ETFs and shares. Got my Commsec offer, still waiting for the MyWealth bonus.

        What is the difference between Commsec and MyWealth they seem to be different trading platforms offered by the same bank :S

        Also this offer was much better when all you had to do was open and deposit $1000 into the cash account to get the $50 bonus.

    This is in the T&C's -> "This offer is only available to customers who access this page via a MyWealth targeted communication or a MyWealth banner."

    So looks like we can't just click the link provided. My guess is they would have put that line in due to previous ozB posts. Anyone know where to find a MyWealth Banner?

    good to note that it cost about $20 to do a trade and probably another $20 to sell… It is roughly equivalent to a free trade.
