the friends and family part is nonsense, they will never say anything about it, just show them the coupon when checking out its all good

just went and bought one just then, Nike Shox not sure exactly which one, after discount came to around 112, original rrp was meant to be 200+ not bad i reckon

So I picked up 2 paris of shoes today.

Got a pair of Asics GT 2140, which were on sale from $209.95 to $179.95. The listed RRP on Footlocker’s website is $199.95. However, Asics’ RRP is $210 and Rebel Sports is $209.95. Plus the GT 2140’s listed on Footlocker’s website are a different colour. Anyway, less the 30% they came to $125.95, which is an ABSOLUTE BARGAIN!

And a pair of New Balance 749 for $111.95 from the listed RRP/store price of $159.95.

Went in today and bought 2 pairs of shorts, they had a deal on some tables “2 for $50”. I thought awesome, $17.50 per pair of good shorts, then i hand over the voucher and the guy says it’s not valid for “2 for” deals. I look at the voucher terms and condtions, and he’s right. :(

I bought the shorts anyway, cause $25 a pair is not bad, and i really needed some shorts.

I also nearly bought some nice Nike slides for $31.50, down from $45. They were size 15, same as my current Nike slides, but when i tried them on they felt a little too small, cause they don’t curve up around the edges like my current ones. :(

Grabbed a pair of shoes and saved $40. Manager stated no exchange or refund (which I believe is against the Trade Practices Act) but shoes aren’t the kind of thing you would exchange/refund anyway, so it didn’t bother me very much.

The Foot Locker I went to had several shoes with a “try for 20 days and return them if unhappy” or something to that effect, including the ones I bought.

Actually the sales girl let me try on the new Asics Gel Kayano that weren’t meant to be released till tomorrow (weren’t on the shelf yet either) and would have honoured the 30% discount on them too, but I preferred to save the extra $100 difference.

Yeh i went and got a pair of Asics Kayano marked from $269.99 to $219.99, further 30% off, down to $153.95. GReat buy for Kayano’s! I also had the choice of the new ones, however there isn’t much difference between the models. Thanks
