  • I went to the Doncaster one the other day, it was full of all the rubbish that people wouldn't buy.

    • Staff get all the good stuff before the store opens.

If it were not for all the cheap rubbish I would have far to much empty space in my house.

Kobo glo e reader $60 down from $128

    • awesome thanks. got 3 for my kids

Great price on the canon portrait pack. Paid $124 a few weeks ago, and that was the cheapest around at the time

  • I went to have a look. Pity there is no list as I dont know what is on clearance sale.

Just ask. Most counter staff are happy to help.

      • Hi makka would you happen to know any stores selling the Pentax? Located in Melbourne, Thanks

        • I can't sorry I can only look around local stores. Call up the customer support line but. They should be able to help you.

          1300 244 999

Sorry I couldn't of been more help.

        • @Makka: Thanks for that, was helpful still, still went and bought a tg-850 tho =)

  • Hey guys, not exactly related to this offer but with the canvas prints still on sale, had anyone found the preview quality to be very poor? Hoping the print is a lot better and it's just an indication. Thumbnails appear sharp but preview looks poor.

    • As long as your picture is of a decent resolution you should have nothing to worry bout. At least 5mp for 12x18

Half price canvas finishes 23/4/15 I think.?

  • Hi OP, which store did you see the Kobo? am interested but doesn't seem to be discounted at my local.

  • Just got back from BigW Mt Ommaney. They still had about 8 of the Kobo Glos for $60 (Red/Pink Colour Only) after i picked one up. and a heap of the nikon and olympus cameras listed above. Also saw 2 of the old 320gb PS3 for $248.

    • Plenty of black and pink kobo glo at highpoint, if anyone else is interested.

    • You still have the receipt? Cheers

  • For people in South Australia, barely anything has sold at BigW Gawler, still had tons of $10 Xbox one and vita games for example (Most of the stuff that sold out in 1/2 a day at Marion)

    • Do you remember what stuff? (Vita mainly)

      • most kids stuff, lego ninjgo and the like, only big vita bargain was the 10 dollar 4GB entertainment pack (gow psp, playstation all stars, ect.)

        • Cool, I gave em a call. It's actually $30 for that one but yea, there's a couple things left i might go look at. thanks

  • Thanks guys, I'm not familiar with either Mt Ommaney or Highpoint. So I'm assuming they're not in NSW. Sorry I should have mentioned I'm in Sydney.

  • Cameras back to full price in Vic

    • I thought so too, wasn't really looking for one but went to have a look at the selection and they actually had BIG W blue stickers on them showing full price.

      • Yeah there was one I wanted but when they scanned it, no dice.
        Guy explained it was over.

        • No. Some one in their infinite wisdom has stuffed the events up. Every thing on drop zone reverted back to its normal price today.

This problem will be fixed first thing in the morning. All prices will be back to drop zone prices.

Drop zone is well and truly still on. Stock that is marked down WILL NOT be going back to its normal price. The idea is to get rid of it all.

        • @Makka:
Right, thats what I thought too.
The kid I spoke to was adamant that everything was full price again as of Sunday. Which didn't help me much as I was trying to buy something on……Sunday.
So its a stuff up then.

        • +2

A massive stuff up. Call your store in the morning and see if they'll do a 24hr hold for you. Then just tip in and pick it up when the error is fixed.

Sorry this mistake affected your shopping experience.

    • nah, I bought one of the camera and when it scanned fullprice, I pointed at the price tag, the lady talked to some manager and was able to override the price. The guy also said it was a stuff-up and they'd be fixing it soon as Makka said.

  • A few Kobos left at the Brissie Underwood store.

Picked one up this morning, thanks OP!

    • You still have a receipt by any chance? Cheers

  • Bought a SH-60 from the Runaway Bay store. At $140 for a 24x zoom In a easy to carry camera is very useful-great for going out and sbout for capturing photos from a distance.

  • Anyone found stock for the Kobo in WA? I put in my post code and it showed about 7 stores that were all out of stock.
