Part of the Dick Smith gaming clearance sale. Selected gaming titles priced at $5, $10, $15 and $20.

Mainly Xbox 360 and PS3 games. Some titles include Battlefield 4 $10, Halo 4 $10, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag $10. There were a few titles for $5 like Battlefield 3, Fifa 13 along with some others.

All Sims and Diablo PC games were $5

Killzone Mercenary PS Vita $5

Skylanders swapforce starter packs $10

I didn't seen all that many PS4 and Xbox one titles that were discounted.

      Didn't take me all long to finish it. Might take longer if you are going for 100% though. In GTA V you can get 100% without completing absolutely everything though strangely enough.

      It's a driving simulator, murder simulator, strip club and prostitution simulator, flying simulator, yoga simulator, car jacking simulator, drive by shooting simulator, walk, running AND jumping simulator, and I haven't even gone into the weapons… A complete life simulator.

      Definitely a game to own.

          The PC version is significantly better, not just graphically but you can play FPS style as well, together with the longevity provided by mods supported by a community and the movie editor…oh yeah…the movie editor.

      The games you can see online are not discounted. It's mainly ps3 and Xbox 360 titles, with some pc games and a very few ps4 and Xbox one games.

        Am interested in Ps3 games and maybe a controller. Why are they not putting PS3 controllers on discount when everything that has "ps3" in its name has seen a price slash after ps4 released.

        Didn't ask as I have a PS4 but from what I got from speaking to two different stores (Mt Ommany) There wasn't many Xbox one offers or PS4, it's mainly 360 and PS3

          PS4. They had a fair few games for $3 but you had to get in early. I ignored the consoles only to find out later that they were extremely cheap too.

          @GunnerMcDagget: Thief wasn't reduced at my local Big W. Stupid me was too kind helping others and i missed the BIG deals too but i wouldn't think to buy and sell. People so sneaky!! I found it funny. Lol. Just looking to get a few bargains for my kids. Thank you. Bargains i got weren't my first choice but anything is better than nothing. If i pop into Dick Smith today i know i will walking out saying yeah right but hopefully i am suprised. Wishful thinking!

    Called dick smith they have 2 copies each of Diablo 3 and Diablo reaper of souls for $5 each (PC ver). It will be a 40min drive for me. Is this a good deal worth the drive for?

    Tons of battlefield 3 xbox360/pc for $5 at George St store near Myer. Also tons of Black Ops 2 for $15 xbox360 or $5 pc. But nothing else.

    Most Dick Smiths have absolutely no stock on any given day in store. My local does not have games i want nor does anwhere for a good half hour drive away at least. $5 game is pretty good.

      a mate of a friend of mine (sounds like an imaginary friend lol) went and bought a few games and managed to get a photo from a friendly staff member that told him to tell all his friends….

    Cheers OP, I acted fast on this one so I wouldn't miss out! But still not as quick as I could have been, as I had to pick up my sisters from school…..

    Alright people, went to three Dick Smith (DS) stores.

    The first one was in Karryinup - couldn't see the actual store as it seems to be closed down upstairs and couldn't be bothered to check out side to see if it was re-open outside the shopping centre area. So if you find this, go for it, not sure if there's anything there but good luck.

    The second I went to Innaloo's DS stores. The first of these was inside the shopping centre but they didn't seem to stock anything interesting that I wanted. SO I went to the bigger one which was situated outside just maybe a 1km or so to walk. Went in there and my god the place was huge! Yes I never been to these DS stores in Innaloo before. The games section was fairly big, at least bigger than the usual DS game section in small stores.

    So yeah went in there and saw games with their price tag still not changed. I took the games I wanted, along with whatever my sister wanted(yes I brought her along so she could check out the $5 Sims 3 expansions/addons). Got to the counter and scanned the barcode. They checked at $5 - I was like "Yeeesss." So went back and slowly examined the game section to see what else I wanted. Apparently nothing besides the two Diablo 3 boxes I got(There were others, check the pictures I took - you guys might want them). And my sister was still frothing over the various many expansions there was for $5 and of course she took are time choosing and thinking….

    While she was doing that, I guess I wanted to test out some sound systems there were readily available to use to pass time. It was fun having thumping music playing whilst passing time! He he. Though even with the speaker set that was at 3600W RMS, still wasn't powerful enough to play within the fairly large DS store(I had to stand a meter or so in front of the speakers to hear everything correctly played, otherwise the sub 30 to 40Hz was unnoticeable, but you could still feel the vibrations those low notes played; not bad speaker system - would have bought it as well if I had $1400 to spend…..).

    Anyways, after she finished choosing which ones she wants and which ones she doesn't, we went over to the counter and pay. Note, two of the Sims 3 expansions she wanted wasn't at $5 and was scanned at $30 each, so OP you're wrong that all Sims games are tagged at $5 it's only selected ones - you'll have to pickup the ones you're after and make sure they scan right before paying. ☺

      I do apologise, but the store I went to have heaps of Sims games side by side and they were all marked with a $5 clearance tag. It's possible that some were tagged incorrectly or that this store only had the clearance ones.

      wippy has kindly posted a price list so people will know exactly which games are on special and how much each game is.

      Thanks for posting those pictures. It clearly highlights some stores have heaps of stock whilst other stores may have little to none. But if you look you will find.

        All, good - just wanted to point out that's all. The store you went to probably only had clearance ones tagged at $5 and shelved, in which, I assume you must have inferred that all Sims games are tagged $5, because the ones you saw were.

        Yes, wippy did have a full list that showed which ones were on sale and which ones weren't; however I wasn't on my computer at the time when that was posted because I was at DS(and checking out Ikea afterwards as I've never been to Ikea before and just wanted to see what it was like and what stuff they had for sale(Had a U-shaped table in mind but they didn't seem to have any U-shaped tables…so looks like I'll have to make my own or find them elsewhere)).

        By looking at the list, it doesn't seem to list every single Sims 3 expansions so the ones my sister picked up must have been the ones not listed for $5(or even listed at all which means they're still at full price)….I can't even remember what those were anyways - darn, should have took pictures of them for reference….

    Dropped in to Top Ryde Dick Smith yesterday afternoon. Had a fair amount of games including Diablo 3 (not the expansion though) but none of the games were marked at clearance prices and I didn't check the prices as they didn't have anything I wanted.

    Picked up the last Diablo:ROS at Garden city (QLD) they still had a few sims 3 expansion packs and About 15 copies of Black Ops 2 for pc at $5, which I also picked up.

      Mine was $0.01 as they scanned the bar code for the Tomb Raider that was a download card included in console bundles :)

        You are lucky, I remembered the staff was so amazing when he scan the bar code and asked the supervisor. And the supervisor did some change on computer. And the final price is $5.

        But $5 still pretty good anyway :-)

    Just got back from long bus trips to Riverton Dick Smith Electronics. No more Reaper of Souls, i got the last 2. And i got 3 copies of Diablo 3, they still had a few more when i was there.

        Back in the diablo 2 days I would say 3 minimum ( I had around 40 set of keys). With 2 set of keys you could do some basic muleing of gear. If you run the multi-excutable hack you could run 3 diablo 2 at the same time on a 300mhz pc so you could also rush 2 of your characters at once, by opening a portal and bringing through your characters through, then kill the boss.

        I recall having a lvl 8 character running around nm cow level with the negative stats knife. But with blizzard crapiness that deleted character just after 30 days even though they are supposed to be kept alive for 90 days I slow lost all my accounts so I just gave up on it.

        Hmm seeing diablo 3 + xpansion is only $10, it might be worth buying. I checked today there was none at my local dick smith.

          How would you control all three characters at once? Unless you got two of them going from a script or something and the other you control, this unlikely….

          @Zachary:

          Step 1) Open portal near boss and go back into town
          step 2) ALT + Tab to other instances of the game and bring your newbie characters to the boss.
          step 3) switch back to the main character go through the portal and kill the boss.

          As i recall even if your newbie accounts end up dead on the ground whilst you fought they would still get the quest for killing the boss. This was before they implemented the minimum level requirement to finish a difficulty around 1.09?

          Since they was significantly lower level than you they would get very less xp as a penalty. They will be in hell difficulty under level 10.

          With a souped up sorc, and the map-hack you could teleport really fast through the dungeons, up to hell mephesto.. after that join some other group for the last few bosses.

          EDIT: I actually mean't hell difficulty (the last one haven't played d2 for quite a while)
