Also the Seagate Expansion 1TB plus a $20 item for a total $74 spend.

    Comparison:

    Seagate Toshiba
    Thickness 4.8cm 3.2cm
    Length 17cm 18cm
    Width 13.4cm 9.4cm
    Weight 280g 240g

    Both USB3, 3yr warranties

  • Would this be fine to use with an xbox one?

    • I'd suggest a bigger one wouldn't hurt… especially if you are a Gold Member. It should be fine though.

    • I have this exact model fro xbone and it works fine

      • Are you sure?

According to this info it is an enclosure-integrated drive.

In no way suggesting MM didn't independently discover this deal, but a friendly shout out of acknowledgement to herbo who pointed out this deal in the Dick Smith Payback deal comments an hour ago. My upvote is for both of you :)

Thanks. Happy for someone else to have posted it. Bit busy today with work and all that.

      • Great team work guys. It's good to be part of the Ozbargain community, it's almost like a second family ;)

  • code won't work,$99-299.unless you buy 2.

      It's $74 after using the code…

I'm sick of all this conformist stereotyping, slim=good, slim=sexy.

    • In a way, there is some merit to your comment as virtually any "fat" 3.5inch HD will out perform these skinny drives. (More brains)

They either need to lose more weight, and become a SSD, or fatten up to increase their memory and longevity.

  • OfficeWorks has a whole bin of these drives at the front on SYD - Clarence St store for $79.00.

I price matched it at Officeworks in Melbourne CBD (Elizabeth St). $70.30 with 5% price beat guarantee.

  • Toshiba out of stock good old dick

  • "Out" of "stock"… Tricky dick

  • "PayPal gateway has rejected request. A successful transaction has already been completed for this token (#*****: Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details)."

The transaction shows in paypal but no confirmation from DSE, only this error :|

  • Thanks bought one!!

  • Are these any good? Or are they all much of a muchness? Not sure which one to buy, whether WD, seagate or this. I need something reliable, think and 1T

  • DO NOT BUY THIS! I got a lemon -_-… after 2 tests using CrystalBench, the hard drive kept powering itself off…

Benchmark of my old WD Passport 700GB~: http://i.imgur.com/ZsAsCFr.jpg

As you can see, not the fastest. I rather a faster 4K any day.

    How they look: http://i.imgur.com/zVQHLAX.jpg
From left: Seagate Free Agent Go 320GB, Toshiba, WD Passport.

Thin yes, cheap feeling, also yes: http://i.imgur.com/iQsdTup.jpg

All in all, good compared price for the same item, but bad quality, feels like a giant nail file. Seagate is one piece of metal.

I'll be taking mine back tomorrow I guess. Thank god it's not MSY, otherwise argue for weeks and get a refund

  • Picked it up last night excellent!
