i've got one of these took me a long time to get used to it but for free i wouldnt complain

      • +1

        for free

        Please explain

        • +8

He got it for free, but could not afford punctuation.

  • Thanks OP, couldn't resist for free.

I also have a G602 but my usb receiver broke rendering it useless after a couple of months.

    • Is that a Logitech mouse? Can't you just get another one of those receivers and pair it with the mouse?

      • G602 has a 'special dedicated 500Hz receiver' which 'will not conflict with other frequencies' allowing you to have a 'better gaming experience' and as such doesnt work with their standard unifying receivers (i think thats how it goes).

Pretty sure all mouses/mice are turnable :p.

  • Thanks, kitty!

  • Thanks OP :-)

  • How long is the cord I wonder.. been using wireless for so long, I'm not sure a cord is long enough in my setup..

      72 meters

    Talkin about an ugly mouse..

    • +2

      Suits you then

Hey I'm just kiddin', you're alright

  • Had this mouse for 6 months now - love it.
Did take a little while to get used to scroll wheel as the "steps"are quite large, but it feels natural to me now.
Keep a spare mouse around though - at least for me it doesn't work in BIOS so if I'm fiddling around I plug in a generic mouse.

    • u need to enable legacy usb on bios

      • Thanks - will do

        • -2

please tell me if it works after doing that…

        • @tyler.durden:
Just replying to let you know that legacy USB was already turned on.
Not too fussed - will work it out one day.

  • don't forget the 2.5% cashback from CashRewards

  • How is this mouse compare to Logitech G100? I bought G602 few weeks ago, but the shape and size didn't suit me. I prefer small mouse like G100 and mainly use it for starcraft2.

    • You're probably looking for something smaller, like G402 or even 302.

  • I have this mouse and it's one of the best value mice I've ever bought. Great build quality and custom weight system. It's more of a palm grip shape but i find it very comfortable even after extended use. Would recommend/10

  • I have this mouse and think it's great, but the free scrolling wheel on mine is slightly off balance. It sometimes ends up in a spot which makes the page wiggle back and forth, or during gaming makes me unexpectedly change weapons.

    • That's coz that free mousewheel functionality isn't intended for usage in games.
Just turn it off by clicking the button just below the mousewheel.

  • Jumped on it, thanks OP

  • Here goes another $50. Thanks OP and stop spending my money!

  • I got one of these recently.

Coming from a G500, the G502 isn't as comfortable to hold…something not quite right about it…does get better with time though.

  • i hate u OP! another 50 spent! lol

Great mouse. I was previously using a Corsair mouse and had problems with my KVM switch (mouse would lose connectivity). No problems with this mouse. The spare weights in the container also make a nifty magnet.

  • Got the 2nd last one :O
    hope its good!

      yep ozbargained!

        just received mine,

This is a great gaming mouse if you don't demand a wireless one.

    Awesome. Thanks to OP.

Anyone know of any deals on mechanical keyboards?

    • +1

Not sure of deals but a great mechanical keyboard is the Corsair Vengeance Cherry Brown !

      • I would looooove a corsair vengeance mechkb, but all the places I've checked have been really expensive. Know where's a good place to buy them?

        • been trialing on a super cheap kogan tenkeyless brown, so far so good. cost 70 only on ebay. worth the price for entry level mechanical keyboard

        • Look at the Coolermaster CMSTORM Quickfire series for a good quality budget mechkb. Around $100 or so from MSY, or $130ish for the Quickfire Ultimate's (same mechkb but with backlighting).

      • Okay, I've been very naughty tonight and nearly bought a Corsair K70 RGB. But reading all the good things about Ducky Shine's I couldn't pass up the Ducky Shine 5 Aussie Pre-Order.

        http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&p…

$229 sigh… Oh well you only live once.

        • +1

You might want to hold off on your pre-order, a lot of people have a preference for a slimmer case offered by the Shine 3 and older models versus the Shine 4's bezel/profile, the year of the goat white edition should also be available soon, which will use the slim case as offered in the Ducky ONE series:

          Hi,
Will you have the Ducky Shine 5 RGB - Year of the Goat White Edition as per https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=74306.0 available for sale/preorder? (It has a white Ducky ONE case, white keys, and RGB lighting)

          Thank you, Loke

          Date: 25 August 2015 4:11 pm

          Hi Loke,
We will definitely be getting them in! We don’t have any confirmed information for the ETA or pricing as of yet, but we’ll list them up for pre-order as soon as we possibly can.
          Regards,

        • @loke: I did consider the YoTG but prefer black for longevity , you're right about the bezel though bit too big but I could probably get used to it.

        • Oh well you only live once.

I have a Corsair K70 RGB. Can confirm, no regrets.

Alternatively, the Corsair Strafe series has just come out. Looks pretty neat and at a mid range price point? No RGB though, if that's what you're after.

    G500 Masterrace

Received today, smaller than my G602, but more comfortable for my hand shape. Much better for all gaming intensive purposes, minus any MMORPG's where u need to spam keys.

  • +1

Mine was delivered yesterday, the speed logitechshop ships items is incredible, what a shame all online shops cant be as efficient as them. Very comfortable mouse, I have big hands and it just fits me, any smaller and it would be a hassle.

  • +1

Got mine a couple of days ago and was waiting to play some quake before posting here.

Quite impressed. I'm still getting used to it but it has finally dethroned my G9X from full time use, which is saying a lot.

I think the size is perfect. Quality is not at G9X levels, but pretty damn good nonetheless.
