    • If it's her birthday or your wedding anniversary soon then you could make her even happier.

  • Mine shipped today!
Considering it is coming from my local store 10 minutes away maybe I'll have it today!

    • wow lucky im not received any more emails calls or anything about mine.
my store is about 10 min away also.

      • Just rang the, will be here tomorrow!

        • only call i got was them trying to sell me extended warranty and a surge board.

        • @holden93:

Haha how much was the extended warranty?

Is there any point? I think a washing machine should last for 5 years anyway according to accc

        • @treeman: was like an extra $98

        • @holden93:

          Pfft hardly worth it.

@treeman: got another call ill get mine tomorrow aswell.

    • wow, that's great. When did you place the order? I placed mine last night & I know the store had 14 units in stock. Hoping I get mine delivered soon too.

      • I purchased mine around 8pm Aest last night.

  • Had a call. They oversold at the store I chose for pickup so they have to order it in.

    • Well it could have been disasterous and they just refund your money. At least you will still get it.
As an ozbargainer we have to be patient.

      • I don't really need it at the moment (or really at all) as my current machine is functioning fine.

I assume my 10 year old LG front loader will die one day so why not have a spare front loader on hand.

  • I normally use half a scoop of detergent since it the water level is low during normal wash for a normal full load.

Mine Just arrived 20minutes ago i just unpacked it. it looks great. :)

  • I love my 2011 Samsung 7.5KG/4KG front loader washer dryer.

I have used it to wash:
1 queen size Tontine wool doona - winter use (supposed to dry clean :P)
1 queen size Tontine fibre doona - summer/spring use (washable)
    Lots of pillows
    Ikea sofa bed covers
    duck down jackets
    sleeping bags
1 pair of Rivers walking shoes (too lazy to wash the shoe after 2 years of dried in mud - of course I brushed off the excess mud from the soles)
    and of course clothes

  • I have done a couple of loads and it keeps on doing the E5 error. Everything seems to be okay.
    Any ideas?
I'm doing daily wash. What settings are you guys using?

    • Actually e4 error.

wow that sucks massively id contact samsung support to see what that means first it may be something simple i have no idea im afraid. good luck though.

        • Not your fault, I contacted them this evening, tried a few things did a test load and worked but haven't tried a full load. Will keep you posted on how it goes.

What setting to people use for a full load?

Cottons is the largest load but minimum time for that is like 1 hour and 45 minutes which seems incredibly long compared to my old front loader which regular load was 45 minutes but could do it under delicates and still did everything right.
          What do other people use?

How much kilos is a daily wash meant to be able to do?

        • @treeman: My washer dryer model does not have some options like daily wash cycle, (3 dial options are used for dryer related selections) so I have to use the cotton cycle which is 1 hour 13 minutes (3 rinse cycle) even on the lightest load up to 1 hour 33 minutes or sometimes 1 hour 43 minutes on the heaviest.

My friend has the 8KG washer only version and the daily wash cycle is about 55 minutes.

I find the machine will try to slowly spin the wash a few times clockwise and counter clockwise to try to rebalance/redistribute an unbalanced load and this will stop the washing clock till it can continue with the wash cycle programme again. I find my unit will try to redistribute the clothes when it tries to spin and detects the unbalanced distribution causes the drum to go left and right (sounds like an unbalanced car wheel). This is why sometimes people complain that the wash cycle takes longer than what it said it would.

      • i got the same error, realised my water tap wasn't turned on well enough for the washer to get water. Checked that & working fine now. Hope you solved yours!

        • I am using the cottons load and it is working better. However it says it will take 2hours 7 minutes but only takes 1 hour 25ish. Which is great just strange.

    • Okay will do.

  • Received mine this morning!! Unpacked and ready to set up, if only I can unscrew my old washer's pipes from the valves. :( it's as if it was super glued. So frustrating! The samsung looks like a beauty, can't believe a washing machine can get me so excited. But thanks OP for this great deal.

spewing I didn't see this deal when the 15% discount was available , still a bargain at the $496 price, hurts though not being able to save the extra $74 in true OzBargainer fashion ;(

    • Yeah was a really great price. but tbh id of bought it at the current price if i saw it and the 15% off didn't happen.

    Found this

My washing machine is displaying an error code. What does it mean and how do I fix the problem?

  • Does anyone have issues with this front loader not taking the softener from its tray or still full with softener/water after washes??

    • Nope mine is working perfectly.

      • is it sitting flat or have you raised the 2 front feet to tilt it at all???
