  • Email says the wrong version?

Product name: EaseUS Data Recovery Giveaway
    Version: 8.5

Have you confirmed working for 9.5?

    • I got that message as well.

    • I've updated the title, but I think the email may be incorrect, and it's infact 9.5. Will wait for others to comment.

    • I downloaded 9.5 from the page and use the code they sent me, and it works fine

      • Can you please confirm your activated PRO version is 9.5?

        • +3

Yes it says Professional at the end of the software name in title bar when I run it.

        • @kelvinsmj: Thanks, I'll re-update the post lol

        • +3

Yes, before registering the product title bar was "EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard 9.5 Trial" and after the code was accepted it changed to "EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard 9.5 Professional"

Thanks. I suppose I should download it and keep a copy on stand-by(just as a precaution).

    • +2

Email states "please activate the software as soon as possible, the codes will be
invalid in 24 hours after the giveaway". You might not just want to keep a copy on stand-by :p

  • Thanks OP, works well

        Don't hate, just sayin'

  • Thanks, activated to 9.5 Professional :) One of those bits of software I occasionally need to use for friends - thankfully not for myself, yet! :P

  • Nice one TA. Big fan of EaseUS software - at least the way it works so well and intuitively.
Not so sure how much metadata it is collecting from me or if it spying on me…

    • Not spying anymore than MS is doing right now I would think!

  • Will this let me image a hard disk (1TB) to smaller SSD?
The Samsung migration software didn't let me migrate from a larger disk to smaller one :(

    • This is data recovery not disc cloning

  • Our support Email: [email protected], really still use gmail.com ??? dont you have your own ?

    • -1

Gmail for business! Why would you use your own when Gmail will take all the headache!

  • Does this software recover data from corrupted hard disks?
In my case the hard disk is readable but when trying to copy files, it becomes unreadable whenever we access unreadable files.

    • -1

it becomes unreadable whenever we access unreadable files.

      Well that's what you'd expect, wouldn't you? :)

      (answer is no, unfortunately)

      • During copying, i expect the hard disk to be readable by skipping those corrupted files.
Can you suggest any software's for this case

        • You can use the manufacturer's diagnostics software to mark the bad sectors as bad so they'll be skipped.
For Seagate, look for SeaTools. For WD, look for WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics.

    • After you run the manufacturer diagnostic software, run the EaseUS software. It may not recover all your data, but it may recover some.

  • Ozbargained already? Could not download the trial software.

    • get your key first

  • Nah just worked…downloaded first and then activated with the TA posted key ;)

  • Use code #RECOVERYASS in checkout for discount.

  • Whats the current version?

  • Now that's tight!

  • +1

Don't download the trial software first - register for the free code, it sends you an email with the code and a link to the installer. Do that and insert your key when you install the program. Much easier.

  • Hey thanks for this one.

I've been really needing a program like this for an incident that has been giving me a massive headache recently…

    Hopefully this provides good results.

I've purchased their back up tool before, mixed results but pretty good.

Unless you're an idiot you should never need this kind of software

  • I just saved the free serial key, but how long will it last?

EDIT: How long will I be able to submit this serial key?

    Thank you!

  • Oh fellow OzBargains, please help! My harddrive just die today together with 1.5TB of data. Windows chkdsk couldnt pick up the broken partition. I tried the EaseUS Data Recovery Trial version, it can see all the bits in there, but without the serial (or $70 USD) i couldn't get anything out.

Bummber, I missed this fantastic free serial key deal. Do you have any of the activation code that is just lying around unused? Thank you for helping out.

Help!!! My data, oh my precious data… (with no backup, of course. Woe is me.)

    Good Luck
