No as its got the USB port soldered directly to the drive. Thats why its a bit shorter in length than other drives and also thicker than the Seagate.
For hdd removal you need to get a Seagate. EG

Nice deal but its another lottery trying to get stock. BTW, wouldnt recommend those Mutant headphones. The noise cancellation is horrible to say the least and so much noise coming from the cable itself (tried on two pairs that I bought last time).
My first Mutant was pretty bad, returned it and tried another one which was much better. Have had it for a few years without any issues, is only used on plane trips but had definitely served its purpose!

Going off the amazon reviews the 2tb Toshiba, it has the usb3 connector on the board so cant be used internally, It also based on the reviews a common point of failure.

Thanks, bought the Seagate 500gb wireless from Toowoomba, QLD for $79.00. I phoned the store and they said it was in their clearance section for that price, and held it for me. Don't know if they have any more.

Do each store set their own prices? Just called the Penrith store and they still sell the ipod at normal price
Quite certain that prices are national. It may be that the store has yet to change the price on the tag? As looking from the system, seems like the price change was done today (for the Blue 32 and Grey 64 iPods)

There's heaps of the Seagate 500GB Wireless at Sydney Pitt Store. They have them in the lockers behind the counter and there's about a dozen left about 30 minutes ago of different colours (Green, White and some Red).

Question For people who own the wireless HD already, are they good for travelling on the go? I'm just thinking of the durability vs San disk wireless flash drive.
For people always moving around, is it ideal for the Seagate hd operating while constantly moving or better just sitting using it when just in the hotel room? I'm thinking in relation to the disk spinning vs flash memory.?

Its better to get a wireless flash drive. The Disk drive has constantly moving platters and other moving parts which will be at greater risk of failure when subjected to stresses whilst travelling (like being jostled about).
The wireless sandisk flash drive is basically a bunch of chips soldered to a PCB.
Ofcourse, the capacity of the flash drive is much lower than that of a conventional platter HDD.
Bought ones of the mutant headphones, works well.
no clearance ipod touches or shuffles at any of the Perth metro stores. officeworks need to fix their inventory system…all the faulty products still show up as part of stock.
I got the very last one of these at Warners Bay, NSW Officeworks yesterday at 8:40am
A few minutes later, as I was perusing other stuff in the next aisle, the OW bloke began discounting other Toshiba 1TB drives for other customers who asked about the 2TB bargain. He was doing an on-the-spot $20 off 1TB prices.
That's a great leg-up for the customers who missed out.
