  • 100 watts… they really mean it when they say increased intensity and power. :)

Just to give some info which could be helpful to those that care.
These are great headphones. I own the corded top model. I bought them in March and they are good. Quite comfortable. Not 10/10 but after a few hours they are still very good.

Music is good. I don't have a good comparison but when you listen to music outside and it's windy then you hear the wind.

I still bought this deal again a few hours ago and I will sell the corded model on eBay. I think the Bluetooth is great and much better in today's age.

The top model comes in a leather padded case and is very high quality.

Overall I think these are fantastic value. I think Bose are better but at over $330 for one on special, not so much.

  • Isn't the bonus headphone ment to be the MDR-ZX770BN as listed on Sony promo page?

    • This deal is not part of the Sony bonus. This is a bundle deal, so I guess they have included the older discontinued model (750BN)

  • thanks. needed a space pair of NC headphones. might sell one. got my bose 15s still.

MDR10RNC(sony.com.au) Sony MDR-10R Noise Cancelling Headphones RRP $449.95
    on Clearance @ HN(harveynorman.com.au) now $447 ;-)

    A clearance saving of $2?

    I'm a bit confused.

So one headphone is 447, and the other is 171, but if you buy them both together, it's $260? Is that correct?

The Sony Bluetooth & Digital Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphone reduces ambient noise by up to 98% when digital noise cancelling is in use.

I have used a range of NC headphones and earphones and I have difficulty believing this. The Sony NC were the worst and least noticible noise reduction of the ones I've used.

    Has anyone actually tried them?

Yes. The bundled offer include both headphones at $260

The Sony MDR-10R is difference model to the Sony MDR-10RNC. 10R don't have the Noise Canceling technology.

The Sony MDR-10R model was on clearance at Officeworks a few weeks back and can be had for $55.

        • The model number shown in the HN Bundle deal is MDR-10RNC, not the discontinued MDR-10R (without active NC)

          MDR10RNC MDRZX750BN

        • Received mine today. Can confirm that the bundle includes boxed packs of MDR10RNC & MDRZX750BN as described.

      • Sample size too small. Anyone else tried them?

  • When I add both headphones to my cart it doesn't combine the two ?

  • I can't seem to find the add to cart button on the link?

    • Looks like they have removed to option to "Add to Cart". Or it may have gone out of stock.
