Wow, Not often you see Kenya for under 1K.

    • +1

Yep - the flights to Nairobi & J'Burg are the cheapest I have seen them.

    • Cheap kenya deals seem to be running out now. 25/5 - 30/6 show on i want that flight as < 1k but now only the iffy websites show for that amount. Everything else is > 1k

  • I managed to get even cheaper prices to Kenya which is astonishing. MEL-NBO = $895 Virgin Australia (18/05/16 - 08/06/16).

Good find! I have updated the OP. A cheaper price for Miami has already been found, too. Down to $887

  • Wish I had known this was coming up. I booked flights on Thursday. No where near as cheap as this :(

    • To which destination?

      • Miami. I will also be needing flights to Miami in October too.

  • Can you please suggest some date ranges for the Johannesburg flights? I can't get below $1404 MEL-JNB in my May/June searches so far, and suspect it might be different date range to MEL-NBO.

    • Here are some sample dates:
      Dep. Tue 26/Apr/16 Ret. Tue 10/May/16 $893
      Dep. Tue 03/May/16 Ret. Tue 17/May/16 $893
      Dep. Tue 10/May/16 Ret. Tue 24/May/16 $893

If you click the link & scroll down, you'll see the list of sample dates & prices.

      • Hello,

I see torn flights from Melbourne to Johannesberg flying out 26th April and returning 24th October for $893. I'm really looking for the Melb to j'burg flight a bit closer to the 24th. Are you able to help?

        Regards

        • All our flights are listed online, so if it not there…..

If something comes up later I'll post it here.

Any chance that the SYD - MAN sale dates will be extended to mid April?

    • I am guessing you meant the Manila sale? (MAN = Manchester) Unfortunately I don't know.

  • I've been wanting to go to Africa to see the wildlife forever!

Is this a good time for weather, animals, crowds? Joburg or Nairobi?!

  • Has anyone had bad experiences with overly cheap tickets from flight brokers such as bravofly?

    • Yes, bought some flights off them, they took my money …. they didn't send an eticket after 24 hours, I called them, and they said there was a pricing error and couldn't honor the flight.

      • Thanks. I felt the Manila - Sydney leg looks price errorey so if risking it you would want to book a return flight and not rely on the cheap return leg as a separate booking if planning a multi-leg trip (e.g. Syd - KL - SGN - MNL - Syd).

        • I think once you get your airline booking reference you're safe, so you could book that leg first, and wait for that conformation before booking the rest. But yes, if that leg is significantly cheaper than any other site, it's likely an error.

        • The prices from Bravofly have been available for 2 days now, so it is probably not a pricing error (though that definitely happens).

  • Amazing prices. Pity I'm not heading to Africa until September, hoping for another sale.

  • Damn! Denver return $890???

OP, any dates in May or June or July???

    • +1

Sorry, I couldn't find anything for that time.

      • Me neither that's why i asked you, haha…

        Thanks for your time though!

Is American Airlines doing a special fare right now?

I remember when the $AUS is about parity with $US, a return ticket cost me $1350. But it was in May/June.

        • +1

There must be some kind of sale on - There are lots of US destinations that have huge reductions (NYC, Denver, Toronto, Chicago, etc). I can't find anything on the AA site, though.

  • Hey Rep any deal for Hochiminh Vietnam? as I need a ticket as soon as possible. Cheers

  • Hey Rep.

I just tried to purchase tickets Sydney to Manila.

Booked to Manila fine, went through no problems. Moments later
tried to book the return and getting the following error:

Attention, the bank transaction has not been successful.
Please, try again checking that your credit card details are correct, otherwise a technical problem might be occurred.

Payment details are correct, I even tried Paypal.

    This is with Bravofly.

    • Can I send you a PM? I don't think you have it enabled.

You should definitely contact Bravofly immediately, to book the ticket over the phone or chat. Explain that you have already booked the flight to Manila.

Also send me an email on [email protected] to keep me in the loop.

      • Hi Rep,

Please send me a PM. I have now enabled it.

Bravofly website states they are closed on weekends for
Australian phone support. Is there another point of contact?

    • If you are using credit card (through Paypal), have you checked your credit card balance?

At this time of year, it's really easy to go over your credit limit, and then your bank will (usually) start bouncing transactions.

      • Credit is all good mate. With paypal it doesnt
even go to the logon screen.

    • why wouldnt you book the ticket as return instead of 2 stupid individual trips?

with cebu pacific payments it often puts a block on all of my cards when I try anything first time

      • Because it is $60 cheaper to do it as 2 individual one-way flights rather than a single return flight.

I picked up a MNL-SYD flight for less than $100 for early March direct from Cebu Pacific , plenty of other dates available for the same price.

  • I dont understand how this works. I've searched for these prices via link provided and I get totally different prices that aren't cheap at all. Any hints pls ????

    • After you click the link, scroll down to see the list of dates with the cheap prices.

  • What's the best deal to get from Perth to Manila for about 10 days anytime in 2016?

  • I can't see deals for April to July to Los Angeles .

  • I'd like to know if there any flights to LA anytime as well.

  • BTW, do you have any good flight ex Perth? I went to teh price map and ex Perth seems quite expensive. Also saw Sydney $48 return ex Perth n map but when click thru its $328 ??? What ??

    • +1

      Hi Mr Me,

The $24 is because of the TigerAir "return leg for $24" promo. So you pay the full price for the outgoing leg, and just $24 for the return leg (or $16 if you can avoid the CC fee). Unfortunately our site is not set up for these special promos, and lists the price of each leg as though you could purchase it individually. We are working on a fix & should have it ready in a few weeks.

  • I'm so angry that I missed this post :(
can't find anything cheap now for SYD-MNL in late feb :( :( so so sad
