  • Just FYI to anyone who's interested in committing to a finance app; this one is heavily based on a 'Premium Subscription' $/year model. If you're into that kinda thing, it's pretty good, otherwise I'd recommend one like Consume (iOS and Android).

    • It's only a 'Premium Subscription' if you want it to be, for simple tracking (daily coffee and such) then its free.

Also, Consume has been shutdown since 2013:

Sorry had no idea what I was thinking .. I mean Expense (the one with the green graph).

        • Do you mean the "green pie chart"?

      • Man I miss Consume, that app was boss.

    • Consume has been retired. - https://bjango.com/help/consume/theend/

  • I use Pocketbook, australian developers and excellent app

The downside with Pocketbook is that they ask for your personal banking login details, it's poor security.

      • They need to use direct bank feeds like Xero so no excuses for needing login details. No way I'm trusting a third party with my credentials.

I believe NAB's online banking provides some nifty budgeting and expense tracking tools e.g. auto/manual categorisation of transactions. Was thinking of switching banks for that reason alone. Opinions anyone?

  • I've been using Spendee but I might check this one out.
