I saw this for under $50 at DSE canberra centre. Maybe 5 left

they are selling for $48 i think. Unfortunately, Dicksmith stores don't pick up the phone. I have been told they would be in stock from another store….. when i turned up…none on the shelves. Even though, their system still says still have in stock.

      • It was inside the glass cabinet where apple accessories are. Not at the mouse n keyboard area

        • i went and asked the counter, they looked around for me…..after i spent 10 mins looking around.

        • @junk3569: a team of ozbargainer's should go down to settle this.

    • Bankstown DSE had 6-7 left in the glass cabinet

      • Yeh i saw a few of them left in bankstown dse. They had the mx masters in stock last time i checked as well.
Also liverpool dse had heaps of stock left of the mx anywhere

Ahhh .. can someone tell me the advantage of this mouse over an identical looking one that I bought on eBay from China for $4. Post free. Has a useful battery saving auto off feature too .. :-) .. !!

Later: I get it, the Logitech Mouse works in the bath!! DOH …

You compare this with a $4 one .. lol

If you think the $4 one works great you don't need this.

      • I have an anywhere 2 and it has connection problems so a $4 mouse maybe better value.

I recommend Logitech mice to everyone, not at ~$70, you can pick up one for around 20 or one with good features for <$50

I use the M705 with the scroll wheel that can keep spinning, great for trawling through long documents, I use the unifying features to have a desk mouse and a travel one using the same USB adapter. Its good enough for offline-FPS and the logitech software is a little bloaty, but can add some nice features when paired with Chrome (smooth scrolling, etc).

Each to their own, as something thats in my hand 8+ hours of the day, I would happily spend upto $100 if there really is a tangible improvement.

      • Definitely worth the money. Once you have used something that had some thought input, the feel is definitely different. Once I used the MX revolution, I couldn't go back to anything else.

  • Mt Druitt NSW yesterday late afternoon had about 5+ left on the shelf for the logitech.

  • Have this mouse - great for work, definitely claiming on tax. 1 charge = roughly a month of use by an average 7 hour day.

  • I have this one and version 1. Really reliable mouse. I also use this mouse for gaming on my laptop and it works well, comparable to an average wired mouse.

    • What's the difference between v1 and v2?

      • +1

v2 has Bluetooth, is rechargeable and a smaller nano receiver. what I liked about v1 was it came with a carry case and had a sliding power switch that also covered the laser when off.

        • Thanks mate. So the v2 comes with a charging cable/adapter?

And yeah I got the v1 for $40 during the xmas fire sales.

Dont forget u can use the same nano receiver that comes with the mx anywhere 2 on the same comp with the mx anywhere 1.
I kinda liked how the mx anywhere 1 was powered by AA batteries. Sucks how u cannot replace the batt on the mx anywhere 2. But i do like the bluetooth connectivity n allowing to quickly switch between 3 devices

  • In regards to a case i picked up a small dicksmith brand camera case for $4 fits the mouse cable and adapter :)

  • I'm failing to see a bargain on a $70 mouse, when nowadays we know we'll get a new one in a year, hopefully two…
But… Finders keepers!!! Go for it!? :\
