100% agree. It's a marketing tactic continually cycling these codes when they could just leave it opened ended… and the referrals helps encourage OzB users to keep posting.
At this rate you have to wonder how many Ozbargainers haven't picked up Uber already

I saw a brochure for this at the bank today but there was a different code

In the app it says "your first ride is free up to $25 thanks to StGeorge …." so if your first ride is $26 for example do you still get $25 off and only pay $1?
Has anyone taken a first ride worth more than $25, did you get $25 off the price and only pay the remainder?

Doesn't the $25 go back to your account as credits? For a $26 ride, you still pay $26, except you'll have $25 for your next ride.
No, you get $25 off your first ride. If your FIRST ride is $26, you pay $1
How do you enter the code in the App? Or can you only enter a promo code when creating a new account on the web?
If you can only enter the code through the web then the deal link should point to the promo, not to Uber site.
