$15 for Vittoria Mountain Grown, Oro or Organic Coffee Beans 1kg are definitely the cheapest I've seen to date.

    • are these mountain grown beans really that good? I see alot of good comments when they are posted here. Normally supermarket coffee is a bit dissapointing, but I might give them a try. I like a strong long black coffee.

      • I only buy the Vittoria organic beans and they're excellent.

  • Wow! I never see Tabasco on half price!

      You must missed my post.

      • Yeah

I don't understand the hype about Tabasco. It is an overrated sauce in my opinion. Cholula is heaps better.

        • +2

          @Colombian:

I agree with you, however I don't see Cholula on special that much

        • +1

@Bearosaurus: I usually buy Cholula at Costco, the usually sell big bottles in pairs. But the last two times I have been there they didn't have them in stock :(

        • @Colombian:

          😢

        • @Colombian: Cholula or Franks are the best imo. The pepper in Tabasco has a metallic finish that I hate.

        • @Colombian: I personally prefer the fountain hot sauce in the 200ml bottles..They get expensive when you go through about 1 a week

    • its been $2,20 like a few weeks ago… be that as it may, you can kill 60ml in a few days…

Once you find some good bacon at a deli or a specialist butcher you will never eat the crap the majors sell again.

    • Probably true, but a jump from $8.50/Kg to $25 or so is a hard jump to make and turns it from being an everyday staple to an expensive treat.

Damn you poor quality cheap bacon. In other countries cheap(ish) bacon can be good. Here it's cheap or good.

[Awaits post saying a local butcher sells good bacon for only $17/Kg or something similar. A 100% price increase :( . Moral: one man's bargain is another man's rip off.]

  • Broccoli not $2/Kg $6.99 (Brocolini is $2/bunch)
    Lebanese cucumbers not $2/Kg

Where did these incorrect prices come from?

      • The upload show brocolini. Error.

No $2 Lebanese cucumber in my local (Vic.) Will check again later. Maybe State-specific? Weekend deal?

        • Hi. This shot is from the VIC weekly catalogue, so not a weekend deal :)

        • @tightarse:

Thanks. I'll check another store. Maybe I need a deal for new glasses. Lol.

        • @tightwad:

Found the cucumbers. A bit flacid. Lol.
