  • 'Support H.264, MKV 1080p decoding' is a thumbs up from me. But i wouldn't touch a hyundai car, should i buy this?

  • You can get this one for same price which is better brand and can be connected to network:

    • +1

I'm not sure that Astone could be considered a 'better brand' particularly…

but certainly, the network option is a bonus…..

But i wouldn’t touch a hyundai car, should i buy this?

maybe you should……they must be doing something right….

Hyundai i30 and iMax Australia’s Best Cars two years in a row
Australia’s seven State and Territory based motoring clubs have recognised two Hyundai models as class-winners in their 2009 national awards. The Hyundai i30 SX CRDi turbo diesel has been named Australia’s ‘Best Mid-size Car Under $30,000’ 2009 and the Hyundai iMax CRDi turbo diesel was named Australia’s ‘Best People Mover’ 2009.
Following an exhaustive evaluation and assessment process that focused on three main criteria (‘Value for Money’, ‘Design and Function’ and ‘On the Road Performance’), the Australia’s Best Cars national judging panel awarded the double win to both Hyundai vehicles from a field of more than 280 original competitors.

whether that translates to media players or not, I wouldn't know

    • Astone have forum support and update firmware reguarly, but i cannot find any information about hyundai media players on the net

  • i have a different (older) model of hyundai media player and have had no problems with it - it's been reliable and i like that it's a full size remote. been thinking about upgrading to a newer model that supports h.264 but an extra $40 to get that and 1080p seems a little expensive (my existing player only does 720p)

  • if you guys don't care about mkv and 1080p, this WD mini TV for $38 is a steal, bought one 2 days ago for all my rmvb and avi, light and tiny, has been using it whole nite long (3-4 hrs), nothing went hot at all, can resume playback plus able to delete files from menu, can't complain for a $38 WD product …
