  • Sorry forgot to mention you can also buy this Shelter without a Sunwall or with 2 x Sunwalls, links to those two eBay listings are below.

  • Is the actual clearance 4.2 metres? Been on the lookout for something to shade my shed but it's 3 and a bit metres high and every shading solution I've seen for 3 metres or more haven't had a full three metre clearance.

    Hope that makes sense. :p

  • Hi, the ground dimensions are 4.2m x 4.2m, the internal height (at it's highest point) is 2.3M.

    • Bugger. Thanks anyway, mate.

  • It has guy ropes at each corner and you can peg the legs. I strongly recommend getting two walls as one limits your shade area too much. The floor is a good option too.

  • Be aware these are not pop up like the ones you see at markets. You have to assemble the poles and clip them on to the tent part. In saying that I have an event 14 and love it.

I have one and the poles stay in it all the time. All you have to do is fold out the leg (poles and all) then pull the pole lengths apart till they click at the set point. Maybe you're unnecessarily removing the poles when packing it up?

Nah just me not reading the description i have the Event 14 which require assemble as mention above.

  • Hi Regie69, thank you for your comment. This is the pop-up version of the Coleman Event 14, it's not the dome shaped one. The entire frame stays pre-clipped to the shelter, it literally takes a couple of minutes to pop it up. Your extend the 4 x roof poles until they click into place and then you extend the 4 x leg poles - it really is super quick & easy. Click the YouTube link on my listing and you'll see me setting one up.

    All the best, Roger

    • My apologies Roger yep different model to mine. That looks super easy compared to the dome shape that i have.

Only tricky if it's windy. Need a second person then (and the fighting starts).

  • Hi wfdTamar, I would always advise if you have any larger Tent or Shelter to have 2 people to set it up if it's windy, I've been caught out a couple of times myself in bad weather and I camp a lot.

    Regards, Roger

  • I have one of these (got it when BCF had a sale a couple of years ago) and it is fantastic (used it just this past weekend actually). I wouldn't ever recommend putting it up on your own (even when it's not windy) but it's easy with 2 people.
