      • Looks like they've closed this loophole. The gift cards page seems to be dead.

        • Hi *******,

Unfortunately due to an error we are not currently offering our online egift cards for purchase until further notice.

Howver, all in-store locations are still offering gift cards that can be spent within any store location nationwide.

          Platypus

  • I wonder if "pay by paypal" to House will get $30 if shopping is over $60.

    • No

      • Good to know. Thanks

    • no expert, but in theory this is possible if the amex you have registered for click frenzy is the card you use via paypal?

      • +1

I'm skeptical to try. I do have AMEX linked to paypal. But technically payment route is AMEX > Paypal > House.

      • +3

NO, will not work for paypal, must be direct retailer -> AMEX. If you go via paypal it will say *PAYPAL HOUSE

  • can i buy gift card 3 times from same retailer and eligible for AMEX credit ?

    • if you have 3 separate amex's yes

      • so you can't use the same amex multiple times?

      • Anyone tested this recently? Wanting to purchase some giftcards from peters of kensignton

        • +1

? PoK are not part of the promotion…

  • Guys, just received my 1st AMEX card today (Qantas AMEX). :>

I can find the page "Spend $60 or more, get $30 back" and can click the "enrol now" button but the offer is not showing up under "My Offers".
Does this mean this offer has reached the limit?

    Cheers

    • +1

Congrats on your 1st Amex card :-)

From memory, if the limit is reached, a message will tell you the limit is reached when you hit the enroll button.

If you get a message which (again from memory) thanked you for registering, at the end of the enrollment process, the issue is not limit reached. Most likely it is taking some time to reflect in the "My Offers" section. If you received an email acknowledging your enrollment, you are definitely enrolled.

Wooohooo got two tickets (not bad seatings right in middle) for only $100 a ticket!!! Thanks opera australia!! Thanks AMEX!!

    Wish I had 100 amexes!!

    • Thanks for posting this. I read this last night and bought two premium reserve tickets in the Opera House at half price. Cheers for the idea!

      • You're welcome!
        What you going to see?

My tickets were for the outdoor one to see Carmen in April. Still got like $200 in vouchers for something else.

        • I'm seeing La Traviata next year. :) I thought about the outdoor one but a friend said it can get a bit noisy with the party boats in the harbour.

  • anyone know whether we can return purchase online via Esprit store coz i spent over $60 to get $30 from amex before click frenzy started. but with 25% off seems make the deal alot better.

    • It says: "Orders paid with PayPal can now be refunded through Esprit Freestanding stores within Australia or via the online store."

Or you can use Parcel Point to send the items back to Esprit for free: https://parcelpoint.com.au/esprit/return/method. :)

  • Only participating retailers.. :-(

  • I bought something from Espirit but didn't get email confirmation….

  • +1

Do shipping costs count towards the $60?

    • +4

      yes, this is not ebay

  • yes, i think so. I bought from Esprit outlet online and got amex confirmation straight away, then after few days $30 rebate is sit in my account.
just worry that rebate credit will be taken back if i returned the good via parcel point.

  • Still spots available for enrolment.

  • Got the $200 voucher from MyRepublic for Sony PS4 Pro.
Should I jump on $30 + $200? Or wait for a Sony Xmas sale?
    Thank you.

  • I tried finding gift cards at esprit online but to no avail. Anyone bought them and gotten the rebate?

  • Is anybody else having trouble donating to oxfam?
    I keep getting this error

Oops! An error seems to have occurred. Please check the details you provided below - you will also need to re-enter your payment details. If the issue persists, please contact our Supporter Services team on 1800 088 110.

    • I had that error, tried on different browser, like on mobile and it worked!

  • It's so weird, it worked for a few of my cards, then just stopped working
Tried clearing cache etc etc, no go…just take my money damn it!

    • Just tried it on firefox, chrome, and iOS, no go..so wieeeeeeerd.

      • Did you figure out what this was?

        I'm having the same problem.

        • Nope gave up . Buying wine instead at cracka…

  • Hoping that Sony would have a PS4 Pro sale in the next 15 days…

  • Have anyone bought from Victoria Basement? What's the merchant name shown on the statement, would it be the same as buying instore?

    • +2

VICTORIA'S BASEMENT ARTARMON AU — purchased online

      • No "ONLINE"? Might try buying in Artarmon store then, splitting into multiple cards. Thanks!

        • Please report back whether it works or not. Thank you.

        • +1

@Purple: Will do, but probably won't have time going there until later next week.

        • @tukanglistrik: So any updates on your plan to purchase in-store?

        • +1

@kacak: Went to the Artarmon store yesterday but couldn't find what I was looking for. However it looke to be the same as their online store since the items were also sold out online. Not 100% sure though as I didn't buy anything there.

        • @tukanglistrik:
Oh ok thanks for the update. I won't risk it then unless I know the ABN & merchant name instore matches the online purchases.

        • @tukanglistrik: Thank you for the update, much appreciate it. I will not risk it as well.

  • Is click-frenzy just online or can be used instore also?

    • +1

      Online only hence the name.

  • I want to buy weather station.. is there any to do split payment or buy gift card from Australian Geographic ?

  • +1

Made a straight Oxfam $60 donation, received a confirmation from Amex instantly.

  • Does anyone know what Oxford refund/exchange policy is like?
    I didn't like what I ordered :(

  • So how does this deal work if some of the listed retailers eg AlkanBillyHyde only accept Visa or Master Card purchases on their website?

    • +1

All the listed businesses do accept AMEX… ABH shows the Amex logo at the bottom of their homepage. I just tried a dummy order and Amex was selectable from dropdown menu when choosing credit card payment.

      • Thank you for that. Looks like Abh mobile does not support amex selection however the normal desktop site does.

  • $60 donations made to Oxfam and Opera Australia - emails were received instantly!

  • Maximum enrolments reached! Damn I just got a new AMEX today and wanted to register it but no dice.

  • Last day tommorow as well folks

  • +2

Believe this has not expired yet. Looked on online statement and its still active. I think you got until midnight tonight.

  • Strange, still showing as available
