          LMAO

        • +36

Since when did Ozbargainers have a maximum limit on the amount of discount they want? Lol

        • +7

where's the ozbargain spirit no bargain is too great or price too low

      • Should have stopped at 30% bro… anything more than 30%, we say no thank you ;)

        • +6

Anything more than 30% would be pricing error

      • +7

only Masters can pull off a 40% sale and still make a profit

        • +3

and make people think theyre gettin a bargain

        • +2

should read: only Masters can pull off a 40% sale and still make more profit

        • +4

Bonds does 40% off 3-4 times a year. That's when the price reverts to what BONDS is actually worth.

        • +1

So much profit that they're closing down?

        • Can't beat those carpet companies.

I laugh everytime some nut on TV comes out saying "90% off all rugs"

@montorola: Closing down sale since 1989!

          @Jusdrifn 86:

          I would've jumped straight to 100% off. :)

    • +5

I have always been particularly keen on 50% off sales, sometimes referred to as half-price

      • +1

If you need two, then buy one get one free is good too

    • +123

Thanks for letting us know, I was only just wondering where you stood on this deal.

  • woah placeholder!

  • +2

    you beat the clipit

    • +6

I can only find Landing Pages, Sitewide offers don't normally have landing pages :)

  • +2

Just asked an eBay rep and got told that this isn't happening, Rep I spoke to could be misinformed so I'm not certain this isn't happening.

    • I regret to inform you that we do not have any such details available in advance regrading aforesaid 10% discount offer

      • If you have also been told that by a Rep I wouldn't expect this to happen, but it could still.

        • +1

Yeah it's hard to know, usually the reps don't know much about these sitewide promotions in advance.

        • @ShamelessBargains: in the past, I've found they normally know a day beforehand.

        • @TheClipIt: yeah they usually are pretty insightful. Maybe they don't want us knowing :P

    • Another reason why this unlikely is because eBay coupons almost always start on 10:00am Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Odd for one to start on a Friday.

      • +5

Could be in conjunction with black friday sales perhaps?

        • +3

That makes sense, 10% off for Black Friday.

        • +2

Yes. Seems like a few stores in Australia are doing the Black Friday thing… Good for us I guess but I am left wondering if a bargain that I don't need is a bargain at all.

        • +1

@hell0: That's the Ozbargainer way though. Like you can never have too many Eneloops :)

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:

Don't forget cree torches and Xiaomi charge banks!

    • +6

so can I just clarify: are you certain that the rep is misinformed that this isn't happening or are you unsure that you're certain that the rep is not misinformed that this is happening?

      • +4

        I have no idea

      • Good one!

    • Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing in their "customer service" these days.

  • This would be awesome for
    Protien
    Psn cards
    iPhone 7

    • +6

Or just anything, because you know 10% off is better than nothing.

      • -1

Nothing can be better when prices are jacked up with 10%

        • +3

These sitewide sales are different to the recent retailer sales.

  • +5

    Should normally be 20% ;)

  • +5

%10 is not good enough. +1 for the post OP.

    • +10

FWIW, but mainly because this is a weird pet hate of mine - It's 10% not %10 and, also in the same way it's not 10$ but $10.

      • +5

        We be can't all dyslexic

        • +2

Trying hard not to neg you for not misordering the letters in dyslexic ;-)

  • +1

Hopefully I can stack it with my $100 coupon from last month.

  • +18

Why are people +ing something that isn't even confirmed.
Rather, two people have been told by reps that its false..

    • +1

      • No harm because it gets removed if it's false.

        • +1

Well it gets lots of people ready and sometimes excited for a deal that doesn't wind up happening.
No harm as such, but still frustrating for some.

        • @Voltzy: Haha they'll just be prepared for when it happens for real next week or the week after & probably a higher discount.

        • +1

@28Degrees: Yeah seems to be constant "discounts" on ebay

      • +2

        hahah the irony + 2

    • +12

      Mindless OzBargain sheeples voting

      • Baa +1

    • To get ebay's attention. After they read the comments, they might increase it to 20%. No harm done.

PM'd OP and have been given evidence of this offer.

CAUS10 has worked for me for multiple purchases, including 200 (10%) off a new guitar!

    • Doesn't work for mobile phones though which is what half the people on here want.

    • What does that have to do with this deal?

    • +1
