Norwich to London is about 2hrs on the train

      • Best not to mention the cost of trin tickets though!

          Oops, I mention the price… 🚆

Cancel my overseas trip - I can't afford train tickets from $15 each way from airport (but airport to Norwich is additional cost)😯

        • @Infidel:
Single peak adult Norwich to London is UKP18.50, over $30. Trains aren't cheap in the UK.

          @mskeggs:
Trains can be cheap… I've caught Megatrain ticket for around £1 London-Brighton in the past (no longer available, but can search for cheap fares). Was waived though turnstiles & never had online ticket checked as soon as I mentioned Megatrain! Sat with full fare paying locals (around £30)😀

          Worth searching cheap ticket sites.

Advance purchase (depending on time of travel) can be cheap as I posted below. But buying at time of departure is always expensive. On an overseas holiday the cost won't be that much of a burden.

There are alternatives like Megabus London-Norwich from £3 but may be cheaper with promo code or in sales by your registering email.

Norwich to London advance purchase train from £9 (but airport to Norwich is additional cost)

You can pay more than that $15 to get to/from airports in Austraia from CBD.

and if you have arrived on a flight at Norwich Airport, and your flight was delayed, your Advance ticket will be valid on the next available Greater Anglia service

Other advice on cheap train tickets

    • book another flight?

  • there's a stopover at Manchester, can we just jump off there and skip the last leg?

    • You could try, but with some deals, missing one leg of the journey invalidates the rest of the trip.

With any return flight… so pretty much any flight with a full service airline.

Not if you want to get back to Australia afterwards!

    • It might be possible to check in online, pick the seat etc and just not take it. They don't automatically cancel the rest of your flight because you missed one leg (what if you had violent diarrhoea!), especially the final domestic leg - it's just in their power to do it if they choose to.

      • Playing the brown card…. I like it!

Something's fishy here. You saw this deal at a site called "fly4free" but it clearly has a price attached to it? That's outrageous.

If this was next year I'd book these in a heartbeat. I haven't been home in 11 years, I can't believe that I could fly directly to my home city for under $900 return, I've never seen a deal to that airport before.

    Shit

    Anyone watch outlander?
All through season one i thought how nice it would be to go see the place. But after season one finalle I'd be buggered if I go anywhere near the place.

  • Perth to Norwich, why does that feel wrong?

I know, right? It's like paying $745 to travel from nowhere to nowhere
