        • OK, good to remember next time. Hope they don't cancel the HP.

    • Order was cancelled today by phone. They also required credit card details to provide a refund. It took them a while to action this. At least I got my paper delivered for free :)

  • Officeworks came through with my order today. Are they fantastic headphones equivalent to others costing $200 plus? No… (unsurprisingly) They are plastic'y, don't have great isolation, or very good ambiance. But for $38 they will be fine for the kids to use. If i paid $99 for these i would be returning them.

    • Plastic is lighter than metal. If it's sitting on your head for hours, you want it to be as comfortable as possible.

      • What I mean is they feel cheap and crappy. They also aren't very comfortable. But what do you expect for 40 bucks.

  • My order was cancelled as well :(

  • +1

I found 1 left for sale on OW eBay store $38 with free postage. Be quick if you want a pair still see http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sennheiser-Headphones-HD451/23209…

    • Out of stock on eBay

  • Checked Online Order Status: Rejected
    Didn't even bother emailing notification.
    :(

  • If you didn't get these, then don't feel bad as you're better off to not get them. I bought them from the HN sale before this one, and have just compared to Sennheiser HD 202. The HD 202s are a lot better, plus they have a long cable. Save your money for better cans.

    • How much was the 202? Isn't the 400 series meant to be a higher class?

      • I bought the 202 many years ago from JB. I am not sure which model is higher, but I found my old 202s to sound a lot better than these 451s.

        • Do you think it could simply be that the 202s have had more burn in time?

        • @montorola: I have no idea as to why the older, cheaper cans sound better than these. I set my audio level at one point and listened to the same audio file with the two headphones, and the 202s were clearer and had an overall better sound quality. But for this price, these are OK. It's just that if I knew about there poor sound quality before I bought them I wouldn't have bothered to purchase them.

  • I am pretty upset they cancelled it via email with no explanation provided

  • Yep, mine was cancelled by email too because of lack of stock :-/

  • Bought it online but then OW refunded it a couple of hours later saying out of stock. I'm sad. =(

  • Just tried out my pair last night, for $38 the sound quality is good and are comfortable enough, good for travelling that you can just chuck in your bag.

  • So I got the cancellation email but no refund yet. I paid via PayPal, does it take longer to process a refund?

  • I got these for $38 today. I found a pair on the shelf at my nominated C&C store, showed my online order and the cancellation email then asked for the $38 price. no real hassle.

I agree with other comments regarding sound quality being not very good, but they're acceptable for the price paid. They are very comfortable though.
