  • The $10 titles are pretty much the same as Ezy DVD had in their 2 for $20 but the other one's include some really good movies! Good post!!

    • If you don't want to spend $20, it isn't.

  • Don't buy Gladiator! Re-mastered version will be out later this year with superior IQ.

    • Yes, apparently the transfer on the current blu ray version of Gladiator is not good, so much so that they are re-releasing it. Holding out until then!

I'm getting fussy with what blu rays I buy these days, as they cost so much per view, it's a lot of money tied up in a collection and there are only so many spare hours in the day. I'm only trying to buy ones I know will get multiple repeat viewing. I think Gladiator qualifies this criteria. Also tempted by Bourne Identity for $10.

A + for the info on the JB sale. I'll probably check that out and get Moonwalker + 1.

      • Thanks.

The JB tax invoice shows "WARNER & UNI AUGUST BLU RAY 2 FOR $20 PR"

This would seem to indicate Universal titles being included in the promotion as well as Warner Bros.

  • Sanity online also have the 2 for 20 not sure if they are also available instore

    • Apparently they will be on Wednesday

  • Where on the website did you find out about this sale? I could not find it. Very interested in an $18 Wolfman bluray, everywhere else is $35.

  • Since Kmart is open 24 hours…does this mean the sale will start from midnight?

Thanks for posting, some great deals there!

    • In the past, sales at 24 hour Kmarts started at 6:00am, not midnight - but I don't know these days.

  • Which KMart opens 24hrs? I'm in Melbourne and have not really seen any KMart that opens 24hrs

  • Good one, thumb up for me!

  • So many average titles on this list

  • Checked out JB. There are about 10 or 12 titles all up in 2 for $20 deal. It's extremely limited. From memory they are:
    Enter The Dragon
    Lethal Weapon ?
    Corpse Bride
    Wedding Singer
    Moonwalker
Some baseball movie with Matthew McConahey
    The Prestige

and a few more I forget.

    • Lethal Weapon only 1-2 so far
but I only checked in Brisbane City Central one, which opens till 7pm weekdays.

      I got
      Point of no return
      Collateral damage
      2 for $20

I go to JB 2-3 times a week normally, but at least once a week.
there aren't much great title on sale at the moment.
because I have already got the most of them.

  • Not sure if posted already but this is a extension of this deal from ezydvd (39 titles @ 2 for $20):
