          For just the hardware, I'd be inclined to say no. But since they build the OS and maintain all the services, rather than relying on Android and Google, it's not that bad. Especially given that you'll get 4-5 years of day 1 updates for any device, since the model was released.

      Great Camera, Average UI with constant worry of bootloop as bonus. It may never bootloop for you. But reported cases of their track record suggests otherwise

      It's good. Awesome photos, wide-angle lense very handy.
      But use a screen protector, as I find the screen scratches quite easily.
      This phone totally outperforms the Z5, and is on par with the S7.

          $528 was the 20% off price, and I thought it was 3% cashrewards, but it looks like only 1.5% now when i check the statement

    Still too much of a premium for Aus stock on the S7. Kogan deal on S7 was much better and have not had issues with warranty returns regarding phones in the past. So don't see much benefit in Aus stock.

      I won't buy a phone without Australian warranty.

        Still a ~$200 premium is still steep. Unless the phone has a common flaws (like your S6 seems to have), there doesn't seem much reason to pay that for peace of mind. $200 is not far off half the grey import cost. I'm likely just to buy another phone rather than faff around with support, to be honest. I still think mobileciti could do better.

        Side note - S6 replaced several times, yet people complain about LG?

          I got it launch day. Had scratches on the screen when Optus staff opened the phone to set it up.

          Second one was replaced because it was dropping calls all the time. Around 4th month mark.

          Third one was replaced 14 months in because the phone would go from 15% battery to 0% in 10 minutes on idle.

          Fourth handset has GPS issues where I am always coming 1 street up or down from where I am. I don't use GPS so don't care about this. My contract ends in 10 days so still have warrenty for 10 days wondering if I should do something about it as my battery has started to play up again.

          @imurgod: My mum's only had it for two days so far and battery seems fine. It has a decent sized battery at 2800 mah, it's actually pretty good. It does depend alot on what you're doing on it. Maybe not the greatest battery life but not the worst either.

          Moto's are great, can't go wrong with them. A bit more expensive and a little lower spec'd but they are soild phones with stock Android.

          I think you'd be alrite either way.
