    Is this compatible with ios?

    • yes, works with the yeelight app

  • Does this come in bayonet fitting?

    • +1

      nope only ES

      • im retarded but would it still fit? really want this useless thing but wanna make sure its compatible

        • no.

        • @first in line:

either way sold out by the looks of it

        • +1

For future reference, you can get get an adapter between $1 and $5 although it will make it stick out if you were putting it in a casing.

        • @zerocents:

Ah ok thanks or the info. Really want one of these

  • How long does it take to ship to us? A few weeks?

  • NB if you want to use it with IFTTT (& Echo/Google Home) you need to setup your Mi Home a/c in Singapore. which is a slight bummer as most of the other Xiaomi stuff only works if you set your region to China Mainland.

But it is pretty awesome. you can even use the app to select a colour using your camera to change the light to (sort of) match & save that colour as a favourite.

  • Hi all
From reading the questions and answers on this bulb what connector do you need to use this on our 240v voltage?
If at all do you require anything to make this bulb work or is it simple plug and use.

    Thanks

    • +1

just plug it in, it's 110-240v

Just d/l the app (Yeelight or MiHome) it'll detect it, select your wifi network & password.

      • Thanks man
I thought of the same but after reading one of the questions and responses I found it weird to believe you would need a converter? Where would you plug the converter lol

        Thanks again for confirming :)

  • -3

Maybe only 10pcs were put on sale and told 50..

Ordered one on 15 March and still haven't received. Asked to wait 2 months before report as missing by after sale team. My advise is to get tracking for your order.

    • Ditto that man, Still waiting myself since the 15th of march and I paid a bit extra for air mail.

    Question:

If I ONLY buy this lamp without a hub, will it work? I have an android and iphone phone.

    Reply::

    Hello John,
    Thanks for your inquiry.
It do not need the hub.
Directly to your home to use the lampholder.

Downvoted for being helpful. Welcome to OzBargain I guess…

  • If I used these bulbs for bedside lights and turn the globe off via the app but leave the switch on, will that be bad for it? Ie. Still active current or whatever

  • +1

if only they're consistent with shipping….I'm still waiting for my last order made 40 days ago.

    • What's so good about these that they're so popular? Besides the fact they change colour.

      • +1

Connect them up with amazon echo and control your lights without ever having to move

        • Sounds pretty sweet.

          • @[Deactivated]: Note that for echo and Google now you have to set the Mi Home region to singaoore. Therefore it won't work if you have other xiaomi stuff that requires mainland China.

      • My kid loves it and relaxes her when she goes to sleep, just change it to purple and she's set.

    • "This Code does not exist. Please check again."

      • -1

Just tested the code and it works GBXMYL

      • Just worked for me.

    • Thanks a lot … wanted to try one of these … 39 left :-)

    • This is like the 3rd time now, might as well make it permanent :D

    • Do these have a persistent memory that can recall the last state they were in prior to powering off?

      • +1

Yeah they do. I have two and work great

        • Awesome.. So if I cut out power it won't go into disco mode when it turns on like my dodgy IR based ones do today?

          • @cyssero: If power cuts out they cut out and when power comes back on you actually have to turn it back on manually (in which it will have reset to white colour)

          • @cyssero: @adrianhughes1998: Thanks! I didn't realise that. You don't know if there's a way to have them always on when power resumes do you? E.g. set a default state?

          • @cyssero: @cyssero:hold up i need to be corrected. I think from memory when my power went out it saves the state but doesn't reset.

Its only if you actually turn off the light switch on the wall yourself it's when the state resets. To reset the bulb you press wall switch on and off again three times repeatedly til the bulb light starts going in disco colours

          • @cyssero: @adrianhughes1998: Thank you again! One final question, so when the power turns off at the wall and you turn it back on, it goes back to the same state (e.g. last colour?). If you don't know that's fine! I am just asking as I plan to install it in an area where the power will turn off and on (based on schedule) and I would like it to stay as it was before the power went out and without using the app or manual intervention. Cheers!

          • @cyssero: @cyssero: i don't know because i don't turn the circuit breakers on and off all the time haha. It does save the last state up to a day and a half or two days i think

    • Edit : Nvm finally got one :)

    • Cash Rewards ? 2.4 (new) .80 (existing)
hows their shipping times (free shipping) do they stick to 15-30 Days or go over?

    • Do these have a B22 bayonet cap version?

      • No. Just E27. You'll need a converter

    • Thanks OP dont even have a lamp or RGB setup, i see if i can find a lamp that can fit this.

Ps. Paid $20.71 with paypal how to u get $19?

  • Code is expired??

  • Got one with extra delivery option (7-15 days) $22.56 Total.
