$350 for a pet bed holy crap

      • +1

It would want to be a Penthouse pet…cheap then.

  • Does dell have monitors before? Seems none ATM? :(

    • +1

Its mothers day, not fathers day ;)

      • +3

        -outrage etc-

    • It looks like they jacked up the prices on them too.

  • +17

am i the only dirty one who misread the code?

    • +4

Yes… yes you are… dirty one

    • Thanks to you, now I read it dirty as well :( shame on u!

    • +3

I have been waiting for this comment…

    • +1

      I read it as CUM20 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

      • I totally wouldn't want to look at your browsing history lol

    • +2

      do you have broken arms?

  • +26

Before people go sooking and negging about price jacking…. go report it to the ACCC and that'll help in stopping it from happening. They can't do anything if they don't get reports.

    https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/kogan-pays-32400-penal…

    • -2

They won't do anything even if they get reports.

      • +6

Did you even read my comment?

Kogan pays $32,400 penalty for alleged false or misleading representations in a Father's Day promotion

        • -7

Have you tried? I've tried and its waste of time. Don't bother any more.

        • +10

@wtfnodeal: You're probably the only 1 reporting it. If every person that usually negs reported them then something would be more likely to happen.

        • -2

@Clear: doesn't matter how many reports they receive. Their reply to me was it was an honest mistake when the retailers online store system had a glitch affecting their prices and quantities not a bait and switch action therefore they wouldn't take any action. Jacking up prices is seemed as a "system glitch" so they won't be penalized for a mistake.
Edit: well they did offer to help me request a full refund if I have not already done so.

What does Ice Online sell?… I am afraid to click at work.

      • +1

Bought Dyson V6 animal through David Jones with AMEX deal plus 6% cashback via cashrewards.

        • Thanks - unfortunately don't have an AMEX.

  • +9

Any actual bargains? Looks like a typical +15% -20% to me.

Sorry for the bold, I know it has negative associations with some, uhmmm, users.

    • I see that too.

    • Don't forget the typical out of stock of the good products until the sale is over.

  • +8

wow some serious price jacking here from Graysonline. Acoustic Energy 3-Series 5.1 Speaker System Was $1999 even this morning. Now its $3599

  • +7

Thanks OP, I'm going to get my mum the best gift of all… The happiness of her child by getting a discount Dell.

  • not a bad price for Nutribullet RX 1700 - ~$240

Mothers Day 20% Mark-up Sale is now on. Hurry, get sucked in and ripped off before its too late.

  • +4

Same old crap, same old retailers. Just do a blanket 20% off SITE WIDE!!!!

  • I'm getting my mother a finger painting she can hang on the fridge. I've already got some paint I used to paint my house, some A4 printing paper and the fingers. All sorted, screw eBay sales that aren't really sales.

  • +1

Meh, anther overpriced "sale". I miss 10%+ sitewide sales…what happened to them?

  • +2

LMAO Sony increased the price of their TV so with discount it goes back to the original price

  • Myer Star Wars LEGO dropped another 20% so that was ok.

    • Only a few for sale now :|

      • Yep , been wiped out. I was ready to go just before the promo started , but doesn't mean Myer won't cancel my order. Done it to me before.

  • +4

What's the point of these 20% sale ?
Waste of all retail stores time for jacking up price and consumer time searching and finding out they got ripped off.

    • +4

      And the heck you +vote?

      • +1

        It's ironic isn't it

  • +1

this is the first time I've seen HN at 20% off. Did they remove all the good stuff (Apple products, S8)?

Shopping Square is listing their grey import S8s at AU RRP prices. Good stuff. When there's no 20% off, I'll bet they go back down to grey import prices. And you're a tool if you're paying $1200 for a grey import S8 from SS.

  • +3

Haha….another ebay thread with 200 abusive comments, 321 upvotes and only 1 downvote

    • welcome to OzBaggin'

  • +1

Nice work KW for marking a product listing as ended and temporarily out of stock given that I was able to add the same product to my cart before the promotion started, while the same product is listed as being in stock and can still be bought on the main site. So same seller, same product, just a different sales channel. I honestly don't see the logic of sellers choosing to participate in the promotion and then either removing products or increasing the price during the promotion period.

I wonder if we have clickbots from eBay on ozb.Obvious blatant scam sale like this get so many +vote, how the ozb community has fallen!

  • +1

The last six futu listed monitors I looked at went up in price before the promo.

  • Can anyone tell me if sonos play 1 include in this ?

  • Any eneloop for mum? I missed the eneloop deal very much.

  • excellent!
got the ryzen 1600 for $285, bargain!
    sold out in many places

  • Greys included!
    Farewell savings! Nice knowing you!!

  • hang on, says max $1000 discount, not $1000 sale price.

tried to buy 2 items that total $1400, hence $280 discount, says voucher invalid.

    Any ideas anyone?

    • +1

Ebay is normally having issue during the last 1-2 day of promotion. You can chat with them. I managed to buy multiple stuff and 3 transactions during earlier days. Purchases were made more than $ 1000 in each transaction.

      • thanks, but where is the chat link with ebay?

        • +1

          Contact us

        • @yht: ahhh, found it. has gone thru, thanks again. seems I had to be logged into PAYPAL for code to work. all good, cheers all!
