80

After hearing about the wannacry outbreak I went looking for a Antivirus deal and found this one. Bitdefender is always highly regarded and this was the best deal I could find.

Trustpilot rates scdkey as very reliable, i have my key already although im stuck at work for the next few hours. https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/scdkey.com

Send it to me and I'll test it for you.

  • I wonder how much more effective this is compared to the free version (which I use).
People may be interested to know that Bitdefender has a free Anti-Ransomware Tool
It's obviously not guaranteed protection, but it protects against common forms of ransomware (CTB-Locker, Locky, Petya, and TeslaCrypt) and it's free.

    • The bitdefender antiransomware tool is more of a vaccine against those specific ransomware mentioned. They are now developing one for the latest WannaCry.

The free bitdefender antivirus will not protect u from many strains of ransomware as it doesnt include the module…

  • Note that once you use a licence it blocks you from using the free version.

    • I'm not sure why you would want to go backwards but I'm sure it's just a matter of deleting a registry key/subfolder to regain access to the free version

  • +1 to BitDefender. I switched to using it from F-Secure about 18 months ago and been very impressed. Two years for that price is pretty good value as well.
