        • @droodle:
          Thanks… I will look for a better deal…

  • I grabbed a set of TRED recovery tracks (1100) for $151. From outback_equip. Good price if anyone is in the market

Any good deals on SD or micro SD cards?

  • Anyone got a link to the T&C?
Is there a minimum spend to qualify for this discount?

    • +1

If you click on the pic on the top right of the deal it takes you to the terms and conditions. Had a quick read and couldn't see a minimum spend.

      • +1

        Thank you.
Clicked the search link and didn't see this code on the ebay site.
No min spend is great - Will have to buy something this time around!
        Cheers.

  • Can anyone recommend a UPS system for a desktop computer (3hdd, GTX1060, i7-6700k 650w power supply) and a router hooked up.
    p.s. must be silent

    Thank you!

  • Has anybody shopped from shoppingsquareaustralia before?

    • +1

Original comment deleted. Sorry I was thinking of the wrong seller!

  • +1

Probably a stupid question. I click on tje search link. Displays 689k items. Then search for my item in the search bar at the top. Find my item (roofracks). Add to cart but code doesn't work for that item.

Wondering why it's not working if I used the link and searched for my item on that link?

    • Link to item?

      • Just noticed it's not a participating seller. Came up in the search though.

  • Hi members…
does anyone know if any of these sellers sell mobile phones?

    • +3

      yes.

It's generally not a good idea to buy anything until you've fully researched the price it sold for (click the purchases history and then compare). Many resellers raise prices during a sale.

  • Any deals on Google home or Phillips hue lights?

  • Looks like Videopro has jacked up the price on Sony Bravia 65” KD65X9000E 4K HDR TV

    $500 dearer than their website.

    • They are quite open about the fact that they need to cover eBay seller fees, so their eBay prices MAY be higher than their website.

When I purchased my TV from them recently, it was cheaper with the 20% eBay discount compared to their website.

  • 10TB hard drives come down to the price of 8TB with this code. Thank you :)

    • The price of my 10TB drives that I bought months ago keeps coming down thanks to these sales, and I get a refund thanks to my price protection insurance on my credit card :)

      • How does that work, if you don’t mind me asking?

        • Check out 28 Degrees Mastercard or Coles Mastercard (both run by Latitude Finance), they both have purchase protection which you can elect to have on your cards (conditions vary). Should be many threads on OzBargain about them.

        • @endotherm: thanks

        • @endotherm:

So it works with these ebay discounts?

always thought it had to be a non sale/special price or something along those lines.

        • +1

@High_Point: This just came today (I held off submitting the claim last month to see if it came down some more). Nothing to stop me submitting subsequent claims when it drops further.

Item Description: Seagate Ironwolf 10tb Hard Disk Drive (Quantity 2)

          Your Claim Number: XXXXXX

Thank you for contacting us in relation to your Price Protection claim.
Based on the information you have provided us, your claim has been approved.
We have made a first and final payment of $82.00 to your account representing the benefit for the item that has been reduced. Your claim has now been closed.

As long as it is a regular price reduction (not a price match, run-out etc.) it is valid. This was a purchase from an eBay online bricks-n-mortar store (Futu).

          Price protection

If your purchase goes on sale within 24 months at the same Australian retailer, we’ll refund you the price difference. *

Price Protection does not cover a price reduction:
          • due to price matching
          • that is conditional on cash payment, or
          • offered as part of a special deal involving other items or benefits.
Price Protection does not cover the following items:
          • jewellery, precious metals and precious stones
          • cash or its equivalent (including gift vouchers, traveller’s cheques, tickets, postal orders and other negotiable instruments)
          • perishable items including foodstuffs, groceries, beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and other consumables
          • animals and living plants
          • used and second-hand items
          • special-order, tailor-made or one-of-a-kind items
          • items offered during a ‘closing down’, ‘going out of business’ or similar sale
          • items sold as floor display discounts, imperfect, seconds or damaged items
          • items returned for a refund
          • items purchased outside Australia.

The fact that you got a 20% discount or have store credit etc. is your good fortune. The transaction with the card provider is I spent 80% of the price, so you get 80% of the benefit back. In my case I bought it at 20% off, it is cheaper now and 20% off so what I got back is the same money as if I waited to buy it now.

  • Code didn't work on grays-online item.

    • +1

I just tested on a random grays-online item and it worked for me.

      • Still doesn't work. I'm trying to apply it to a 'tv stand'

        • Just tried it on a grays online tv stand and it worked. Some people have problems if their paypal account has an overseas address or have you already used the coupon 3 times already as it only has limited uses per account?

  • +1

Bought the Bose Sound touch 300 which with 1.3% CR came to $767.50.

    Pretty chuffed with that, cheers!

  • +1

9 days of same same to go..

    • Hopefully it forces stores like JB Hi Fi to move their lazy asses and provide discounts on their gaming tech

  • Is there a proper eBay page with actual store links?

  • Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2s can be had right now for $167 via futuregear. Not a bad deal that probably the lowest I've seen them go for. Top pair of wireless cans if you don't mind the looks and the slightly bulky design. Great SQ and battery-life, decent ANC, and a whole lot of awesome features. Picked one up sometime back and highly recommend them.

  • Tried with this monitor here (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SAMSUNG-27-PREMIUM-PLS-LED-BUSINE…) in the ad at the top it says 20% off…, used PICNIC at checkout (with PayPal as payment method), no 20% discount given?? All it says is "This code can't be applied to your order.".

    • Double check the country / locale setting of your Paypal account. Needs to be aussie.

    • Just checked and you are right that the coupon doesn't apply to that item in particular even though the store is included in the sale. Maybe ebay chat can help apply the code for you. Best of luck.

      • Can you please enlighten me on how you would get to try the code without first committing to buying it?
It's been a fear for a few of the items I bought, but so far worked…

        • +1

Click add to cart. Click proceed to checkout. Enter code in discount section. Discount should show and final amount for order should update (it doesnt work for this item in particular). You can still go back at this stage and remove the item from your cart. However, if you're happy, discounted amount is showing and you want the item click confirm and pay you will be taken to paypal sign in.

  • Looking for a good USB to HDMI converter. the stores that are reliable are not in this sale. :(

  • Rah! Was hoping to get an Arlo Pro 4 camera system but all sellers have increased their prices from $1150 to $1350

    • These went up ages ago. Before the last 20% off sale as well. I was in the same boat :(

  • I always have problem applying the 20% code, even for the previous codes. Anybody have the same experience and have a solution for it? I had to request for a manual credit which takes ages and may not be approve

  • What's the last date for this?

    • 23:59 aest on the 20 September. On most deals there is an expiry date shown just above the report, bookmark, reminder links.

  • no good LG G6 deals :(

  • Is there GoPro hero 5 for under $400?

  • its the middle of September, wheres the 20% off everything dammit? :)

  • +1

The store "grouponewarehouse" doesn't seem to exist. "groupontwowarehouse" seems to be its replacement - the code appears to be applicable to their listed items.

    UpdatedLink

  • Guys, can I make offer and use the code at the same if the seller accepted my offer?

    • Sure, give it a shot. My understanding is eBay provides the 20% discount, not the seller. If they have Best Offer, no harm trying.

  • Thanks - snagged some WD 6TB RED drives from warehouse_1_online now they've dropped it by 10%. Now with code is 6TB for under $250, seems good.

  • Thanks! Was ordering a shrunks toddler bed off Zanui but checked for codes before buying - they had 20% off on ebay as part of the ebay sale and free shipping.
