About the 25th time this has been posted. Lets see if this one survives.

    • +2

      Why are they being deleted?

      • +16

        Do gooders complaining

        • +1

          About?

        • @PainToad: first not enough info on ozsikh post then he posted again but no deals but he had some stores just like this so technically this has no deal posted either

        • @ABUKEE: 20% off is the deal.

        • @bricabrac89: your a little late mate that comment was posted before all information was updated and deal was edited

        • @ABUKEE:

          Ok np

      • +8

Probably because there was insufficient details, this one has a specific start date and time so it'll stay up.

    • +13

      Today's MVP.

    • +4

A thousand blessings upon your soul.

    • +2

quirk with link error message says one or more sellers not found…at a guess theres typos in the user IDs.

      • +33
        • +5

I attempted that too, but my fixed version got the same error. I walked away in disgust.

        • +7

@Tuba: hahaha i never give up!! was a waste of 2 hours though

        • +1

          Well done!

        • How do you use this? Need to insert your search term somewhere in this URL?

        • +3

@gadgetguy: are you on mobile? use this link https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ebayadvsearch?_ftrt=901&_mwBanne…

hope it works? not really sure what i am doing

        • +2

@Savas: Go to the list of vendors page (not the search), copy it, paste in word, remove bullets, then its a process of adding commas, and removing spaces. I got the 'comma', 'delete', 'end' process muddled Im guessing at some point.

Maybe theres a macro for that…

        • +1

@Tuba: idk what that means, i just went find and replace "^p" with ",". the problem was in the list there were typos, pretty sure "shopping-express-clerance" which doesn't exsist should've been "shopping-express-clearance" which does. also some stores seem to have a different store ID to their ebay URL for their store? i am confused too, though more importantly in Willy's link you can see he cut off half the URL….

        • +1

@Savas: Oh so the ebay provided foundation is borked too… good on em. If I read that shopping-express typo, Id probably read it as its meant to be, not as it appears.

        • +2

@Tuba: yeah idk. there was also a thing that the advanced search doesn't like capitals, for example "Avgreatbuys" comes up with nothing until you make it lowercase.

just looking now the list seems to use the store ID that was used in the URL such as http://stores.ebay.com.au/jwcomau but they much have changed the store ID to "jw_computers" which is another reason why the original link said "one or more sellers not found"

        • "x-bull" is not listed in the participating stores but their items appear in the search.

        • +1

@Cleremy: not for me, must have cleared the search criteria?

if you are on mobile use https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ebayadvsearch?_ftrt=901&_mwBanne…

        • +1

also I shortened it https://goo.gl/M2AQ7r just noticed Microsoft Edge cuts the end off when you open or copy it but doesn't matter for chrome

        • +1

@Savas: Didn't realise you did it too, my bad. Wouldn't have tried doing it myself. It used to take me a long time too but now I'm pretty quick. Took about 20 minutes for this one. I just put in a filter of about 20 stores at a time and see if there is an incorrect store. If there is, I'll split that batch into 10 and keep narrowing it down. It's much quicker than my old method of actually going through each one individually. Btw, you missed a store too: a.toolies.tools

        • +1

@BlazinPast: ahhhhhh shit! excellent catch, might get mods to update link or delete my comment. the only person who deserves the up votes should be you!! glad we have an expert here. am learning, tried breaking it into chunks of 10 but there were so many errors ended doing one at a time.

        • +1

@Savas: I think the right one is being used in the deal post so that's good enough ;)
I have a list of all the store names in a document. I just put them directly here: https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ebayadvsearch. If there's no error I continue copying/pasting the next batch. If there is an error, I narrow it down, double check it again, and then I update it in the document, and continue going in batches of 10/20. Hope that helps you more. You'll get better at it

        • +2

@BlazinPast: you're an ozbargain legend!! we would be screwed without you

how to use this search link ? looking for speakers…

      • I agree I can never use them to actually search

      • Click the link and search at the top where it says 'search for anything'. You may think that it would redirect you to search from all stores, but the filter has already been applied.

        • hm…for some reasons the filter won't apply on firefox but chrome works fine.

    • Appreciated.

    • one link to search them all :)

      thx

    • +22

      Ignore that link, it's wrong

You missed 10 stores by just simply copying and pasting what's given. It irks me when people just copy/paste since it's not always right, you need to go through them and make sure the store ID's are correct.

      Here's the correct link

Here's a list of the stores properly added in this search:
      avgreatbuys
      chalet-online*
      discountbrandsaustralia*
      ibasetradingptyltd
      jw_computers
      knivesandmoreaus*

      pcmarket-au

      • +3

        Thank you.

  • +23

Most of these stores are permanently on sale with inflated prices.

    • +7

      Pretty much this.

Selected store ebay sales are a waste of time, site wide sales are the only time you'll actually snag a saving. Better off posting up a any diamonds in the rough if there are any than advertising pre sale mark ups.

      • +7

I know it isn't for everyone but plenty of good deals if you don't mind searching through the rubble. Like the Xbox one s with destiny 2 and forza horizon 3 for $240 and the Nintendo switch and has been heroes for $375 plus shipping at ebgames

        • Maybe… we'll see what the price for the Xbone One S deal is at 4pm (currently $299).

    • +1

      Shopmonk has good prices

      • +1

Often cheaper to buy direct. I wonder why.

        • Was thinking that after I posted.

        • +2

          No ebay fee

    • +1

A good example is the tent below.. $1099 or $879 after discount. Can get the same tent for $679 through a quick google. Usually around the $699 price.

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-COLEMAN-INSTANT-UP-NORTHSTAR-…

    • Checked monitor prices and I reckon 90% fail to beat the cheapest Staticice price after the discount. Futu in particular are really bad.

    • Most

Yes, most being the key word here as there are also some very honest reputable sellers there with better prices than most others

  • +6

code should be called PANIC :)

  • Code isn't working for me.
"Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again."

    • +6

      Starts at 1600 today

      • +19

Serves me right for skim reading. I'll let myself out.

        • +1

Funny, I laughed at the "I'll let myself out"

      • might wanna put that in title

  • -5

sounds good but no real info about what's a good deal.

couldn't be bothered searching each individual store for a deal.

this post would be great if it was more refined and actually had links to some of the good deals.

  • would officework price beat the 20% off price?? hoping to get an iphone 7 or 7 plus

    • +1

Nope. Won't match coupon prices. Needs to be an advertised price.

    • My local officeworks also says it has to be a physical store that has it in stock, that you could reasonably drive to i.e. same city.

  • +1

any good tv deal for tcl or hisense UHD 4K?

    • +3

      Starts at 1600 today

      • Yeah my bad just found out. Cheers thanks.

    • Starts at 4pm brother.

    • +5

futu_online are notorious for price jacking. I think you might still save off the regular price, but not 20%

      • +4

You'd be lucky to save 5% with Futu.

Some of the sellers jack their prices up so much during such sales, they end up listing above RRP.

        • +7

          Like this example from Ausluck.

          iPad 2017 128gb
          Apple Store $599
          Ausluck $659 !!!!

          https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/152507381463

        • +2

          @trump3: Above Apple's RRP. Incredible

        • Asus GTX 1060 6GB Dual - $399 elsewhere, $360 with discount here…seems like a legitimate saving to me! Also available for the same price from Shopping-Express-Clearance

      • Unfortunately compared to other options this is the cheapest.

Example a Acer Predator Helios 300 is about $1400 AUD but then import duties and tax push it past $1600.

Also this should hopefully have an AU plug instead of US so one less hassle.

Ideally I would go for a $1700 refurbished GTX 1070 laptop but they don't exist anymore that deal was a one off it seems.

So $1520 GTX 1060 laptop is next best option as the cheaper one than this on Amazon seems to have more problems than I would like to gamble for.

        • There is a new version of the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop coming out this month that is meant to start around $1,300 aud supposedly with the 1060 option.

        • @geebee: wow if true not bad

  • +4

    Let the price-hike begin.

    • +2

Yes. All the prices will increase by 10-20%. Ausluck is one of those.

    • +8

Price must be very fit, considering how often he hikes.

  • Any good chef knives out there?

    • +12

It's a tech sale. But if you ring in the next 15 minutes, you get a free set of steak knives..

      • +2

Will they let me pay in four easy payments?

        • +1

          Plus $69.99 postage and handling.

        • Sure, and you have a whole 30 days to try them. If you're not happy then return them for a FULL refund*.

  • +2

357 for qc35 from video pro

  • +23

    Hurry up Amazon…

    • won't be that much cheaper.
look at all the other stores which have come and have not been that much cheaper.

      • +1

Define "not that much cheaper" and which other stores?

This is OzB and if I can save $1 I will!

      • Which other stores have come that are on the scale of Amazon?

        • Nozama

        • @AlienC: never heard of it.

        • @Orpheus: it's the predecessor to Amazon or so I hear

        • @AlienC:

          It was the backward cousin.

    • +2

If you're hoping that they would have the same prices as Amazon US you'll be disappointed. At least after the introduction period has passed.

  • +4
    • But can it play crysis

      • Bring the pole chainsaw into a police station, you'll have more crysis to play with than you can handle

    • Do not purchase Bäumr-AG products. Bad reviews have proliferated for years.

      • +1

They can't be that bad….? Maybe those guys got unlucky and got a dud?
