On Sunday 2 March 2008, Transperth passengers will receive free public transport on all Transperth bus, train and ferry services to celebrate WA on Show at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
Transperth passengers travelling on this day will not be required to purchase a cash ticket or tag on and off services with their SmartRider.
The Perth Convention Exhibition Centre is located outside Esplanade Busport and is within walking distance from Perth Underground and Esplanade Station. To plan your journey to WA on Show, use the Transperth JourneyPlanner or call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TTY: 9428 1999, TIS: 13 14 50).
Visit the Transperth and Public Transport Authority stands (stands 31 & 51) at WA on Show for your chance to win great prizes.

All other states should follow this to encourate people catch public transport.
I reckon, Rexona should give out free deodorant samples at train stations or tram stops during peak hours. Business wise, it probably cost Rexona the same amount of $$. Marketing wise it’s more effective than giving out free balls!!~ And for all of us, it’s probably more useful.
