The only "feature" on this is b28. How unusual. Usually deals have everything else but b28.

Even browsing will be struggling with 1GB RAM, Chrome may not work.

All comes down to the rom, if you have a bloated POS rom, then yes, it will run like shit.
I actually just sold my first gen Nexus 7 that has 1Gb ram. I had updated to latest version of Android (7?) and it was as smooth as butter browsing, etc. Could stream videos fine, took a few seconds longer to load then my phone or iPad, but plenty usable.

I use a lenovo A7-10 tablet with 1gb RAM. chrome works perfectly fine. Youtube and twitch and so forth perfectly fine. Sure there might be a 0.5 second delay, but the next stage up from these tablets is something over $200 or something from an even less well known chinese company.

so….yes, its not as good as a samsung galaxy at $400

Only 1GB of RAM?. Even that little amount of RAM would be almost useless in today's standards. It should be 2GB of RAM as a minimum.

    • +1

Yes it’s a shame, if they’d put 2gb it would be a decent tablet for the tablet

      Storage
      Internal memory - 1GB
Expandable memory - Up to 32GB micro Sd

LOL, you are wrong. It is 1GB ROM. Gods know how much RAM would be in there.

      • +1

No you are wrong there is no such thing as ROM on that. It would be 8GB of internal storage (flash storage) and 1GB of RAM.

Unit appears to be a rebadged Alcatel Pixi 3 (8). 8GB of storage and 1GB RAM.

    • Yes a crappy specification.

    • +1

No it can't be a rebadge of the Alcatel Pixel 3 (8) as for starters that tablet comes shipped with Windows 10 Mobile and only runs that. And secondly it comes with a 1280 x 800 resolution screen whereas the Telstra Tab Plus 8" LTE comes with a 1080 x 800 resolution screen and runs Android Lollipop. Different specifications.

    • Nah, it's mostly ZTE as Telstra has a deal with them, Looks more like this K83 specs:

      • If only ZTE put 2GB of RAM on the tablet then it might be a half decent one.

        • In fact they did, the performance jump but also the price, check the K88

  • Even my 2 y/o nephew will smash this into pieces

  • The other arhilles heel is cpu its a sd210

    Android 5.1 wow

    • Yes you can tell a tablet computer is quite dated when it comes shipped with Android Lollipop.
