They're not meant to go in the same cup — the are specific cups with ice for the ice coffee, and the melt goes in a cup with vanilla icecream
Did you get the clear cup with ice in it from the freezer section?
I just pressed ice coffee on the machine. Didn't see any instructions to goto the freezer. I thought I was doing something wrong. Thanks for advice.
I made the same mistake. You never forget your first.
I can assure you that the coffee melt and iced coffee DO NOT go into the same cup.
The coffee melt is a paper cup, and sized around the ordinary small/medium cups
whereas the iced coffee is a clear plastic cup, and sized identical to the ordinary super cups.
The cups are clearly labelled. In the freezer compartment.
The cup is also shown in the app offer
I got a free hot coffee instead, YMMV

This is interesting; I get all three every month (melt, coffee, and iced coffee) - wife does too - so I presumed everyone did!
Edit: Don't have the iced coffee at the moment, and it appears the regular coffee is because I "keep locking in"
I think you're on to something. I've also noticed that I'm likely to get more offers in the month or two after I've used the app for petrol or at least locked in.
Fortunately I've got a 7-11 petrol close by and monitor prices when I think the Sydney price cycle is low. The worst that can happen is prices fall and I pay the pump price.I usually lock in when I'm on my way to fill up. It also helps that recently my nearest store (Revesby South) has been the cheapest in Australia, so I haven't had to GPS spoof much - also handy is the few independants nearby that can often beat the best prices 7/11 has.
I get the melt and the iced every month, because I don't lock in the regular coffee. Thought this was the norm?
Edit: No iced coffee this month. All good because I don't use it anyway. Always claim the melt though.

Basically it's coffee & ice cream.
There are two main ways of having it after you pour the coffee into the ice cream cup.
- You can have it straightaway with lumps of icecream and drink the remaining coffee or
- You can give it a stir, wait for the icecream to melt and you have a deliciously creamy coffee. (Hint: this way is better and actually hoe you are supposed to do it)To me 7-11 iced coffee (in the correct cup) is disgusting. It's watered down cold coffee. Iced coffee in a normal cup is actually alright on a hot day, because it isn't watered down by all the ice cubes in there..
Does this work at a normal 7 eleven or only at the petrol stations?

I removed the cream frozen bit and got a free short black.

Does everyone get a free doughnut as well every month? 1st offer at the top? I got it for registering last month and it went away after using it, but this morning was back up again with a new date range.
I remember that for the first two months after registering. None since.
I got the free coffee, iced and melt after registration.

Remember, if you just want a free ice cream snack, just purchase the free coffee melt at counter and dont add the coffee. They also have plastic spoons in 7/11 to eat as an ice cream snack.
What happens if you lock in a price on the app and pay for the fuel. But then forget to use it what happens to the money?

Jk, you're locking in the fuel only, the money isn't tied to it. Best way is to top up once at the start and just pay with card/cash at the store. Saves having all thes leftover cents and calculating.
