TECHNICAL INFORMATION
1
TURNRING SYSTEM
Turnering is an essential part of your helmet. This system allows you to adjust easily and precisely at any time thanks to a knob accessible even with your ski gloves. It gives you comfort of use and maximum safety. Turn the clip to the right to screw and to the left to unscrew.
2
VENTING SYSTEM
The Venting System improves the thermal regulation of your helmet and reduces the appearance of fog in your goggles. This type of design guides the air to evacuate heat and humidity, taking into account the entire helmet-goggles interface.
3
HARD SHELL CONSTRUCTION
The Hard Shell Construction gives more durability and robustness to your helmet. This type of structure incorporates an external ABS casing, molded by injection to resist powerful impacts. It combines durability with a significant capacity to withstand bumps and blows. The internal EPOS skullcap absorbs impact and collision at the time of impact. We recommend you change your ski helmet at the most every 5 years if it has not undergone significant collision in the meantime.
4
EN 1077 STANDARD
The EN 1077 standard is a European standard that applies to helmets used for skull protection when downhill skiing or snowboarding. A feature of this standard are the tests undertaken to check the shock absorption properties and the resistance to penetration.
5
CUSTOMISATION
You can personalise your helmet thanks to the stickers offered. These stickers are easy to apply and respect applicable standards for helmets.

That's normal price? Also + Postage if you can't C&C.

Their products are decent quality and very reasonably priced.

  • I think these are usually $20

No use for these in Australia

  • An unbranded helmet?

    A $15 helmet for a $15 head?

    • You could buy a sticker. Not a branded Smith, POC or Giro but for $15 you get EN 1077 STANDARD:
The EN 1077 standard is a European standard that applies to helmets used for skull protection when downhill skiing or snowboarding. A feature of this standard are the tests undertaken to check the shock absorption properties and the resistance to penetration.

  • Excuse my ignorance but it's there any significant difference in shape/construction to my kids bike helmet?

    • im no expert..and i dont know how your kids bike helmet looks like..

but in general a bike helmet is designed for one major impact and you should really throw it away and get a new one. Whether we do this or not is another thing…
a ski helmet is made for multiple impacts of which i would assume would be softer.

also it would be made to cover the ears and allow goggles and things to fit on where bike helmets wouldnt cover ears.

      • Thanks for your reply. Have you got a source that says ski helmets are designed for multiple impacts? Perhaps a different Australian standard to bike/skate helmets?
