Today, when purchasing GoW for a friend - I came across a 27 dollar discount when purchasing online and I can't see any promotions/deals outlining why.

God of War 49.95 Standard Delivery or 42 C&C to Pickup in Store.

See attached screenshot.

The 27 Dollar discount seems to be working for more games according to Users Dtown and MobbaHobba

I've tested this across a few products on the HN website now, and it seems that the 27 dollar discount automatically gets applied at checkout.

For products that are under 27 dollars, a smaller discount gets applied.

UPDATE: Deal is expired, 27 dollar discount no longer gets applied at checkout. Good luck to everyone with their orders.

    The deal's been removed now. I was in the process of ordering a copy and the price jumped back up to over $70 with shipping. Now when you add it to the cart the $27 discount is absent. That's a shame, but good on those of you who got in quick enough.

        Got confirmations come through 5 minutes ago for 3 of them. One got cancelled (RDR2), one more I've heard nothing about (Detroit).

          Only the lone XB1 game I ordered got cancelled thus far.

          We'll see until they're all in my hands though, but I assume if they allow me to pick up GoW; the others should be fine too.

          I already have a HN account(same as my paypal email) and wanted to place the order quickly.. hence didnt login.
          i can see only the orders I placed as a logged in user, but not the one as a guest check out.

      I think if you sign up a HN account with the same email address you used for PayPal Express checkout, the order will be added to your HN account. (not 100% sure but at least this is what happened to mine when I signed up today and immediately my account has a previous order I placed back in 2017)

        Even if the others don't go through, can't be too upset with this deal as I was planning on getting Crash for Switch regardless. Im actually grateful for this deal considering I got the PS4 version on Launch day for $30 by taking advantage of the EB trade deal and can't resist the lure of portability

    Okay I'm a dummy and I bought an iTunes giftcard at $30 because I wasn't looking properly. I think its really unfair how they can cancel the order, but I can't cancel it 10 mins after I place the order. Is there anyway to cancel this?

      I put through an order for a gift card which I'm certain included the $27 discount. Ended up being charged full price so i sent through a 'Contact Us' query explaining what had happened and they cancelled the order.

    HN confirmed my order via email, and then a few hours later sent another email to cancel my previously confirmed order. They cited the following rule: (9) Harvey Norman Online may, in its sole and absolute discretion, accept or reject any offer made by you for any reason (or no reason), including an error in the advertised price for, or description of, the products on the website, or an error in your Order.

    Pretty crappy move to cancel after confirming the order.

    I managed to pick up my GOW order from Balgowlah NSW. But I did just see an email from them saying they are cancelling the order. Guess I got lucky
