Today, when purchasing GoW for a friend - I came across a 27 dollar discount when purchasing online and I can't see any promotions/deals outlining why.

God of War 49.95 Standard Delivery or 42 C&C to Pickup in Store.

The 27 Dollar discount seems to be working for more games according to Users Dtown and MobbaHobba

I've tested this across a few products on the HN website now, and it seems that the 27 dollar discount automatically gets applied at checkout.

For products that are under 27 dollars, a smaller discount gets applied.

UPDATE: Deal is expired, 27 dollar discount no longer gets applied at checkout. Good luck to everyone with their orders.

    Dont bother with ACCC, it will waste your time and tax payer's money.

    Only if HN is as generous as TGG and issue gift vouchers (with no minimum spend) for their error. Oh well. I guess HN doesn't have a very good reputation to retain anyway.

  Update:
  Managed to pick up 3 Months XBL Gold and Skyrim PS4 from my local store even after cancellation email last night.
  Local store was closed yesterday for ANZAC Day

  Also, C&C app said my Crash preorder is on back order from the same store - implying it will be fine as well?

      I got 2 emails and successfully picked up Skyrim PS4 ($3) and 3 months of Xbox Live Gold ($1) this morning without an issue from my local which was closed yesterday due to ANZAC day

        Mine is still at the first confirmation email that the store is preparing my order.

  Same with Ninternet above, my God of War got cancelled but then got a new email saying the order is still processing however they've run out of stock. Fingers crossed they honour the $42 because they've just upped the price to $79.

  This is a mess.

  I'm now receiving other customer's emails (complaints) to Harvey Norman in my inbox, as well as 15 other people that are listed in the thread.

  On top of that, only one of my 5 orders has actually been cancelled and successfully refunded at this point, and it happened to be the very last order I placed. All others I placed first are still saying processing in my online account.

  This tells me that they're not dealing with this in an organised manner. You'd think they'd be going through and refunding orders in chronological order, but they aren't.

  Just got the email telling me Harvey Norman is refunding. Package is also no longer tracking. Well my party is officially over! Bummer.
