Cheap for pure sinewave output but "you get what you pay for" probably going to come in to play here.
The few reviews of last years model are not promising but hard to judge on 15 of them.

Wish Aldi would provide specs, fuel consumption rate, continuous power output etc

      Productreview is a joke site

      • Which alternative site is better that you recommend?

        • +2

There may not be any alternative for many products but that doesn't make fake reviews any more useful.

          OzBargain.com.au

      • I did leave a negative review from my bad experience with carnextdoor on productreview. The review still stays on the website. Every month or so they send email says how many people i have helped with my review which is pretty cool. Always thought productreview is full of fake review but this changed my mind a little bit.

        • I don't see where carnextdoor are trying to place themselves in the market. I looked at hiring any old car for an upcoming holiday to Brisbane where I'll be travelling 4 hours north. Factoring in the price per km, for the 2 weeks I'm away it was far cheaper to hire a car from Bris airport with RaD car hire (not a plug, just scratching my head at carnextdoors price plan). To be an effective newcomer in the market, you need to offer something better than the competition. Sure, I can get a fancy car from them that I couldn't hire elsewhere, but the prices on everyday Ford Falcons was crazy.

  • Compared to what I see on ebay this is a great price.

What happens if you don't need to use it on 23rd June? They should make a model that starts whenever you need it to, not just on a specific date.

        JC is a second cousin.

  • Any one got the full catalogue? what else is on sale that week?

It looks like the normal price at Aldi.

Note that these units won't last a long time. They are built at a price point. Hondas/Yamahas etc cost a lot more because they never fail. These do. Yes, you'll see reviews saying "this unit was awesome during my last camping trip". Ask the same person in 2 years and the answer will be "it stopped working". Caveat emptor.

I'll buy one of these to charge my electric car :D
