What's your normal price? This deal reads like an advertisement to me.

Offer till 11/07/2018 or until stock last.

Which offer are you referring to? The price of $3400? The $100 referral? The 5 year inverter warranty extension?

  • that's the offer only for QUEENSLAND not any other state.

    Thanks

  • Note : offer is only for QLD.

Is that because of state incentive programs? Or aren't you licenced to service south of the tweed?

Now licensed, but wouldn't touch this mob with a 10' pole after trying to deceive us for so long

There are some goods and services you want to pay bargain basement prices for, and there are some you should not. Solar is one you should not.
A solar system is a significant piece of electrical infrastructure that is gonna be on your roof for hopefully ~20 years.
Spend the money to buy something at least entry level quality, this is well below that

    • -4

I guess if you pay more then it'll be longer than 20 years ?

      More spending more benefit ?

      • …yes…more spending, more benefit. Not necessarily in terms of total time length, but in terms of output over any given timeframe.
Supplying and installing ~6.5kW of panels for $3400 cannot be done for quality product and a quality installation.

        • then there is no deal ?

        • @Deval79:
I haven't negged the deal. I am using the comments section to provide my opinion to all other ozbargainer's who care to read it. thats the point of the comments section.
Maybe instead of cryptic, hollow replies to the comments on your deal you can provide some reasoned rebuttals which will help potential customers understand why the deal you've offered is good??

        • @richox: it's 12 bus bar now you got to get knowledge for 12 BUS bar ?

    • What are some good points I can take to my housemates to make them change their minds.. I need everything under the sun that could happen by going with a dodgy installer and crappy panels and inverter.. name everything possible that can happen.. anything.. we just sent the contract in today and I need some points asap to change their mind.. they sprung this on me literally two days ago and I hear had a chance to research or even rest to change their minds.. my life and livelihood for the next ten years could hang in the balance because of this dumb decision.

I need some reasons why to change other cancel this before it goes ahead besides just don't do it it is bad.. Don't do it.

ZN-Shine solar panels are currently the cheapest bottom of the barrel panels sold by Achievers Energy. Achievers Energy is the wholesale company owned by the same people who own Eurosolar - a company that has a long history of fines for various things including publishing fake testimonials’ and ‘making false or misleading representations about the country of origin of the solar panels they supply’.

For those that aren't aware, Tier 1 isn't a rating of quality. It's a rating given to manufacturers by Bloomberg based on the amount of large projects that have been installed and financed by the large banks. Manufacturers drop on and off this list all the time.

    • Anything to do with Eurosolar - Run away

      • Tell me what is the worst that could happen.. I need to convince my highly unaware and deluded house mates to cancel the deposit with eurosolar asap.. or we are ffffff

        • This is why I Love this site. So many have a proven Flag pole and a few types of flag, If it is red,
run do not walk to the nearest exit. YMMV

  • -1

Who do you told you it's only sold by Achievers ? did you ever checked performance and out put of this panels ?

Lots of great independent information here - https://www.solarchoice.net.au/solar-power/solar-power-insta…

I can't comment on this equipment but its not particularly mainstream.

    Asic search for abn:
143 Mary St Gympie QLD 4570
    (which matches with Pioneer Solar)

    Company website:
    Unit 2 18 William Street ,
    Beaudesert , QLD , 4285

    Wtf rep?

    • Answer?? retraction… Will be forthcoming when Hell freezes over. Love this site!

  • +3

PASS. Dodgy panels and cheap inverter. AVOID

  • thanks for comment.
However you'll have to look at performance ?
How it's dodgy please explain ?
Do you work for ZN-Shine ?

If dodgy why still why in the market ?

    • +3

If dodgy why still why in the market ?

LOL - as there is a sucker born every minute

    • $5 down that 'GoalSolar' wont be in the market before the warranties on these panels expire!

Even the images shown on the homepage have nothing to do with 'GoalSolar', they aren't even Australian!

  • Why is this a bargain? What is the normal price?

    • Similar systems will be around $3800-$4000.

OP will not answer us because I am in Sydney and you are in Melbourne. I received a terse PM telling me to butt out of the discussion.

      • Maybe OP should have posted this on QLDBargain then?

      • +1
      • +1

Can we see a screenshot of the pm?

        • I do not wish to escalate this into the public arena. OP has alienated enough users on his own with his public responses. Releasing the PM will not contribute to the discussion. In any case I have reported this to the mods but they have taken no action so far.

  • From the title I thought this was a bus that runs on solar :)
