3780

Greetings everyone, this seems like a great deal for LastPass premium, a deal hasn't popped up for quite a while and it's a great app to collate/protect passwords!

This is available for existing and new users, so good if you've used a free trial previously or have an existing subscription.

These codes are stackable for multiple years, I noticed people over at SD have been able to redeem upwards of 3 years.

Codes redeemable until September 1, 2018. 12 months subscription starts from the date of activation.

Also receive an extra 10% off if you're a current HumbleBundle subscriber, thanks to gorillainwild.

        • @cozmo: By then the premium freebies will have expired and it'll be high time to migrate to the next upcomer 😉

  • I've been using the free version of Dashlane but they want $39.99 USD for a 12 month premium subscription - looks like i'll be spending tonight changing over to this ;)

    • Look at Enpass: https://www.enpass.io/

It's free for desktop computer and only 1 charge per life per platform (ie Android or iPhone).

  • Bought 2 thanks

  • Thanks op. Didn't know about the student emails.

  • Topped up for four years. Thanks.

  • How does this work say if I want to use this at an Internet cafe aka public computer. I know you really shouldn't but it's nice to sometimes just chill and relax and game with some other gamers in real life. Would need to remember and auto fill all the usual necessities for maybe a gaming scenario and maybe email etc. Basically is it safe to use at a local Internet cafe. If so I might switch to this because having all my logins and passwords automatic on demand securely is my dream I just never thought it was possible to be done before.

I mean say somebody installs a key logger on the machine then they have my last pass information and thus everything right or is there some 2 factor authentication for last pass maybe like my mobile phone.

    • yeah, lastpass has 2FA support.

  • Sadly missing Xbox integration. Only a feature of enterprises edition.

  • +1

Why do we need this when we can use Google for free

  • Sold out?

Got the message "Sorry, but we can only sell a limited quantity of a product in your order, so we have canceled your Humble Store order and will not charge you. Please feel free to try again later."

    • Use a different payment method :)

    • Yeah got the same when trying to get the 2nd year on PayPal
      'ORDER CANCELED
We can only sell a limited quantity of a product in your order. We have canceled your order and will not charge you. Please try again later.
If you feel this is an error, please contact our support team.'

  • Awesome, thanks. Used both paypal and card to get 4 years all up :D

  • After using Lastpass for at least 3 years, I moved away to a better, cheaper product: Enpass https://www.enpass.io/

Give it a go, it's free for windows.

You can export all the password from LastPass and import them there.

I have over 400 passwords stored in Enpass.

  • How safe is Keepass2android as a front end to my database? How do I know it does not have code to capture my password and send it to home?

    • +2

You can download it from github, view the code and build it yourself if you want to. More importantly, anybody can, meaning such code would be doing found pretty quickly.

    1Password FTW.

  • Awesome - managed to buy 3 :)

    Thanks OP!

  • Anyone experience slowdown in Firefox if free LastPass enabled?

  • Has anyone here used Keeweb? It looks good … open source and can be self-hosted.

  • Bought 4 thanks op

  • Signed up with my student email to get 6 month voucher link, then applied it to my current account email and it worked! No need to use a new account if you're in the same situation

Thanks, purchased 4 years worth, required 2 payment methods.

Purchased 5 so far. All stacked. I'm good until 2023 …

  • Can't seem to stack them, it says"It appears that this order has been fully redeemed. Please email [email protected] if you believe this is an error. Note: You already have LastPass Premium, so it's likely that you already upgraded this account!"

    Anyone else had this happen?

  • edit: apparently they stack.

  • Great find, thank you OP. I already have an account and managed to stack 4 years using two paypal accounts (my order was cancelled after trying more than two stacks on one account). Also, for existing LastPass subscribers don't forget to cancel recurring payments.

I have bought a roboform licence for 3 years but it ticks all my boxes. Maybe the mrs can try this one but it all depends on her moods.

  • I use Enpass Pro which was free from a previous deal listed here:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/230061

Is this worth paying for? I think I'm happy with what I have :S

  • Have been using LastPass for years and absolutely love it. I highly recommend using two-factor authentication for added security.

For anyone that has not tried it, give "Authy" a go. It's an amazing little two-factor app that allows syncing across multiple devices (eg. work phone and home phone and tablet). This has saved me multiple times on holidays etc.

Thanks for posting op! I am happy with the free app, but want to support the development so happy to pitch in a little bit (but not full price, i'm an OzBargainer after all!)

    • I don' like Authy that much, mainly the interface. I'm thinking of changing over to Authenticator Plus on android.

      • I will check it out, thanks. I use Authy across Android, IOS, Windows, Mac… yet to find something better but always on the lookout.

        • I just use the plain and simple Google authenticator app and chrome extension. Just save your secret keys or QRcode and you can use it across multiple devices.

    • LastPass also have an authenticator app that is better (imo) than google auth

Thanks!! Picked up 4 years, using Paypal x2 and then the same card that I'm using with Paypal to pay directly x2.

If you don't use Lastpass you are missing out. It is so worth it

  • I switched to Dashlane when Lastpass doubled their price, and Dashlane had a 50% sale

  • I like it a lot. It saved me a lot of time, but it's mainly for web pages and it's not an alternative for Keepass since it doesn't have a thick client to install, only browser add-ons.

  • Also note: no GST in Humble Bundle/Store… yet.

    Get it while it's hot.

Who is actually using the premium features? I haven't worked out if I even need them yet.

  • Hi, noob here. How many devices can you install the app on using this deal. Ideally I need it on 2 phones and a laptop.

    • As many as you like. I've got it a laptop, iPad, Android phone… and for a while earlier, 2 other Desktop PCs too.

      • Thanks, appreciate the reply.

  • Well worth every $$$. Have been using LastPass for ages.

Managed to get two years (Paid once with Paypal, once with CC, and rejected after trying both again). Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP, got 5 years. sorted til 2023.

  • Got the old 10 years license for 110 aud. It is stackable?

  • I just use key chain on my iphone. Doesnt work on cross platform though.

Is this worth it? Is it safe ?

  • how do I stack the orders?

    • +1

Just buy it one at a time, changing the payment method each time. Used to be you could buy 2 per payment method (separate transactions) but reading some of the comments above they may have started to limit that to 1 per.

Well I'm an idiot for holding out!

    • ditto :(
