1 hour is very useful for someone living in the inner suburbs who would be using public transport otherwise. Such as grocery shopping, driving to the outer regions to pick someone up… as a taxi alternative. It is 1 hour minimum and the 2nd hour would cost $12 including fuel.

Yeah.. this is a great deal… I’m starting to wonder if I should sell my car and take this up!
Obviously you’re going to use it for more likely 2-3 hours a month, however $12 an hour is pretty good if you just need it for an afternoon.. and much cheaper than a cab or a daily rental car.
The city rewards gives pretty hefty discounts on parking in the CBD as well. So it’a good combination to have.
